He was certainly entertaining if totally deluded. I was looking forward to him and SERNWA locking horns next season too!

So, have you all reached an agreement on exactly who the biggest and smallest clubs are? :ffs:

Based on all the available evidence and the very valid points brought up in this thread, I'm struggling to place anyone other than Wigan at the top.

As for bottom, Wolves? Done nothing since the 50s.

Using the fool-proof SF points system to include Villa who are down and Wigan who are up (technically).

= Aston Villa - 249,531
1. Sheffield Wednesday - 146,726
2. Leeds - 140,918
3. Wolves - 139,640
4. Nottm Forest - 134,076
5. Blackburn - 127,853
6. Derby - 120,953
7. Boro - 112,449
8. Birmingham - 105,245
9. Cardiff - 102,743
10. Charlton - 98,830
11. Bolton - 98,650
12. Burnley - 94,621
13. Ipswich - 92,734
14. PNE - 91,117
15. Huddersfield - 90,798
16. Hull - 87,035
17. Fulham - 86,624
18. Brighton - 85,716
19. Reading - 72,185
20. Bristol City - 71,291
= Wigan - 68,504
21. QPR - 61,098
22. MK Dons - 51,602
23. Brentford - 49,913
24. Rotherham - 41,031

 That pretty much sums up how ridiculous it is us being down here!

Because they're generally run by absolute mongoloids.

Case in point.... Aston Villa!

Dunno, the Isle of Man Football Festival is a prestigious trophy, y'know?

I think our lot and the Leeds fans felt the same, it's been a long 16 years for us, 12 years for Leeds.....

No way. I've said that even with a new owner the best I expect is play-offs, without such, I can see us going down. This league is unforgiving as hell, and I'm not going to underestimate it.

Any chance of you selling Nathan Baker? He's improved a lot this season to be fair and we'd be happy to keep him.
Will he get a game at Villa Park though?

Depends on how the new manager (whoever that'll be, probably Pearson) feels about him tbh. I'd like him to stay, as he's done well down here in the past season, and Championship experience will be invaluable for us I think.

Yeah, think he'll stay with you. Like I've said to you in the box before, he's a very good player at this league and he's expressed a desire to make it work out at Villa for him next season in the press recently.

Apart from the odd hot-heated moment he's been a great servant for us, will get a decent reception when he returns to AG next season.

NO, he's a nutter, HONEST!! :box:
Yes, yes we have actually. :sna: He doesn't seem to have the 'red mist descending' moments anymore. He was a red card waiting to happen earlier this season TBH. I think he's grown up a bit at City.

Brilliant. That was always his biggest downfall, was always a decent player other than that. I'd definitely like us to keep him then.

Hm, as CU possibly a little OTT but he's been very good for us, would love us to go in for him if Villa's new gaffer doesn't fancy him.

We have a lot of players who will be much higher on the list of 'shit, get rid' than Baker would be even if the manager didn't fancy him.

I bet he's on a lot less than most of the shit you want to get rid of as well. I read on our fans forum that a few reckon he's on 40k+, I'd be astounded if he was on that.

I liked it better when Baker would snap 5 people a game. Now it only happens on the odd occasion.
