Aye, those who caused the trouble from what I read (possible Chinese Whispers) were boozed up 'lads' who follow Palace but because of half term decided to go and watch Bromley at Ebbsfleet.

No problems at Hayes Lane earlier this season, they were very accommodating and aside from a couple of laughable chants from the HLF who stayed in our end in the second half the game went by without any drama whatsoever.

We're home to Bishop's Stortford tomorrow, hopefully the decent weather will see a good crowd at the Vale. I'd like us to go 4-1-3-2 tomorrow with Jonny Wright partnering Jefferson Louis up front. I don't recall Stortford's centre halves being particularly big or strong and Wright's aerial ability is the perfect foil for Jefferson's strength to hold players off. Nathan Mavilla and Luke O'Nien can cover the flanks and Scott Davies can pick a pass in the centre.

A few of them appear to have been Bromley a few times from what I can gather. They also kicked off after the game v Dartford in the Cup, attacking elderly people in the streets, causing damage, etc.

Although I don't think it will kick off, I wouldn't be surprised if it did, even if only a little.

Do they still have the benches behind the goal at the far end? We have the opposite end I believe. Can't see us taking many at all tbh. Maybe 3-400.

Indeed they do. There's also some seating in amongst the benches now. Really flash bar inside the ground as well.

Is the game being segregated?

Yes mate. We have the car park end. Not sure we have access to the bar though.

There always used to be some sort of issue from Bromley fans towards there betters from Sutton for some reason back in the day. Apart from laughable chanting from the prepubescents that now follow Bromley that's all gone.

We're at home to Hayes & Yeading today. It's pay what you want, but HaYes have had some fiscal issues of late are in poor form and I'm going to be there. So it's bang on 1-0 away win

Same here Jared. Glad we're safe in our first season but what shite.

Wealdstone 1-4 Bishop's Stortford (Att: 744)

Any attempts to incite neutrals to the club would have failed upon that showing. I wasn't there but half time texts I was being sent were along the lines of "We're making a mediocre team look really good here" and "our teammates are anonymous with one another." Now I knew Stortford weren't much cop when I went there on a Tuesday night at the start of the season but losing to them 4-1, circumstances aside is embarrassing. So not good enough.

What a win that was, and what an absolute worldie to win it!

Fully deserved to win that and all other results went our way. Safe to say yesterday was a brilliant day. The 9 o'clock start in Spoons ruined me a little, but it was worth it.

A healthy crowd of 1,900 which is good. Probably about 300-350 of us. Maybe more, hard to tell really. I got in for free though!

Seven points adrift of the play offs with nine to play and a game in hand. Plus we still have to play two of the seven above us. Maidenhead at home next week, yesterday will mean nothing if we fail to pick up three points next Saturday.

No 4th officials in the conference regional divisions then?!? We don't have them, but I was assuming by that level they would be there, or do they only start in the conference national?

Havant & Waterlooville 3-1 Wealdstone (Att: 673)

Belated summary of the game. I wasn't there, my old man was - we were well on top in the first half, Havant however took the lead after 20 minutes, a shot going miles wide got a head on the way through and trickled into the other corner of the goal. Stones equalised ten minutes later via Luke O'Nien after Jefferson Louis had shrugged off their centre half and put the ball across the 6 yard box for an easy tap in.

Havant went 2-1 up some 10 minutes into the 2nd half from a penalty which never should have been given, look it up on Youtube if interested. Scott Donnelly converted the spot kick and then proceeded to wrap things up for Havant a couple of minutes later with a dinked finish over Jonathan North. So we didn't play too badly, just a bit of bad fortune and heads going down after the penalty. Home to Gosport in some 19 hours time, hopefully the team can put a performance in. COYS!

Beat Gosport will you. Cheers.

I hope we can fulfil your request. After tonight we've still got to play Boreham Wood, Basingstoke, yourselves and Whitehawk so we're in a good position to start screwing around with other clubs ambitions of making the play-offs.

Lose to us but beat the rest. Please.

We still have to play 3 of the 6 above us

Get in!

Wealdstone 3-0 Gosport Borough (Att: 535)

That was a pants down annihilation. I'm guessing I've seen Gosport on off days on both occasions I've seen them this season but how are they in the play-off mix? Should have won down at their place and but for Scott McGleish fluffing a 1 on 1 and Jefferson Louis hitting the post we would have won 5-0.

They play the ball around well at the back but their midfield was non-existent and the balance of the Gosport team played into our hands when we decided to sit back and counter-attack in the second half. Matt Ball with the first, an excellent 20 yard strike into the bottom corner, McGleish made it 2 some 10 minutes into the second half, beating the offside trap before finishing past Nathan Ashmore with aplomb. The third was a replica of the second but Jefferson Louis (MoM) was the man who beat the trap and scored.

We defended resolutely, had a bit of steel in the midfield and the two geriatrics up front were causing all kinds of problems. Delighted I made the trip down to Ruislip tonight. Shame about the crowd, lowest of the season, not helped with Gosport bringing a dozen at most but at least the atmosphere was semi-decent in the second half.

Highlights from last night. There was a bloke who went round the ground last night with a Help for Heroes tin so I chucked in my loose change (probably 80p or so), it turns out he was a fraud. What a scumbag! Got his money taken off him and is currently in the club's possession.

Good job that weren't here. I normally chuck in 3 or 4 quid for help for heroes - sometimes more.

Hahahaha, Farnborough smashed again today. Day says they have no money yet they were paying transfer fees for players earlier in the season.

Season over for us, barring a miracle run of 7 wins from 7.

Roll on August.

No sympathy at all. Hopefully they fuck off to the Southern League never to return.

Wealdstone 0-1 Boreham Wood (Att: 711)

Wasn't there but it doesn't sound like we played too badly, just had a lapse of concentration right before HT from which Boreham Wood capitalised. These things happen, no complaints from me.

Really surprised Basingstoke have kept going, thought that away at Shitehawk yesterday may have been the day it started to come apart. Home next week to Wealdstone, so I will pop along seeing as Shots game has been postponed because of the Trophy. Get something from that then a couple of easier games to come they may well still give Bromley a run for their money.

Few nasty rumours going round at the moment regarding the Bromley hierarchy, hopefully nobody has done anything stupid there.

In case you can't read above, we're at Basingstoke tomorrow and we'll lose. Hopefully Dean McDonnell who signed from the academy on Tuesday night gets some minutes tomorrow. Got to be looking at next season now.

Yeah, I did read something re Bromley. Can't quite remember what exactly though.
Can't see much happening to them this season tbh, if anything.

We have Concord away. We will win this to get our fans' hopes up again then we will lose at home to Whitehawk next week or at your gaff.

Tempted to book a German weekender for the weekend of the play off final but a part of me is remaining slightly optimistic... only a small part.

Yep, we'll lose...

Basingstoke Town 2-4 Wealdstone (Att: 1,034)

Totally unexpected but I'm rather happy at the moment. I'll need slaphead to summarise as I wasn't there but Twitter on our end was that all of our goals were very soft from Basingstoke's perspective. Those there also didn't believe their first goal was a penalty either but hey, we won. UTS! Got to say, excellent crowd as well.

Ok here goes then. Basingstoke started the better, aided by a gale force wind, and looked like they were going to batter Wealdstone who barely had a kick until they scored. A very soft goal from a B'stoke perspective, hestitant goalkeeping and poor defending led to a tap for for Parker. A (from where I was stood) soft penalty got Town back in it, only for yet more crap goalkeeping allowed Wealdstone to lead again in what was a frenetic 5 minutes. A quality strike from Jefferson Louis then put them 3-1 up and Town were struggling.

Second half both teams lacked ideas, Town struggling to pass the ball against a strengthening wind. Chances were few and far between, but of the ones created Basingstoke had the better of and could and should have been level. At 3-1 and halfway through the second period, Wealdstone seemed content with the score and withdrew Louis. This immediately removed their 'out' ball, Town increased the pressure and scored. They should have gone on then being on top and the better side, except once again some hideous defending gave a goal straight back and they were 2 down again. After that Wealdstone stuck 11 men behind the ball to see it out, while Basingstoke threw the kitchen sink, but much like their shooting, hit nothing.

From a neutral point of view it was an entertaining game, both teams showing flashes of quality.

Bromley v Boreham Wood is look big next week.

Also Concord Rangers in the Conference Prem would be crazy! Is their ground up to standard?

It's not even up to Conference South standards honestly.
