I was joking mate, would have liked to see you come up.

Fair enough. Only chance we have is to win all four of our games and hope those above drop points. Think Concord have three of the bottom five so my money is on them making the play offs.

We'll regroup and challenge for the title next season.

Tom Hamblin has agreed terms and signed a new deal for next season, fantastic news. :)

Heard an interesting fact the other day - our wage budget, despite being pretty big, is only the second highest in this division.

Anyway, season over for us with yesterday's draw at home to Boreham Wood. Whitehawk need one point from their final two games and that will ensure we can't catch them.

Bath away on Tuesday. Could do without it tbh, but going anyway.

I think the club with the biggest wage bill starts with "Wh".

Definite fact or just hearsay? Anyway if we're playing the guessing game it's Bromley, Havant or Boreham Wood. I'll plump for the former.

Wealdstone 0-2 Whitehawk (Att: 814)

10 home defeats this season from 20 games played, nowhere near good enough. We need a couple of creative sparks in this summer so we can play more positively at home, let's take the game to the opposition not drop deep and try and counter attack, it doesn't have the same effect at home as it does on the road.

Maidenhead away next Saturday to end our season.

Fact.

Bromley it is. As I said previously, they offered Anthony Cook a three year deal on better terms in the summer, but he rejected it.

That wasn't good. Oh well. Still had about 50 or so of us down there which isn't bad with absolutely nothing riding on it.

Bring on St Albans.

Lloyd Harrington and Joe Howe have signed up for another season here.

Absolutely delighted with Howe. Will be his sixth season with us and he's been our most consistent performer throughout. Best left back at this level and capable in the league above. Shocked about Harrington though. Day said he would give him a chance to prove his fitness in pre-season as he has been injured practically his whole time here. Young though and clearly has the talent. Just need to hope he's over the worst with injuries.

On that note, Jonathan North put pen to paper on a new deal, making it 6 years he's been with Wealdstone. To say I'm delighted would be an understatement, time and time he's kept us in games this season. His save at Bromley just before they scored is still one of the best I've ever seen.

Good keeper. Who says there's no loyalty anymore?!

Seriously so pleased Joe Howe has decided to stay. Have a horrible feeling Preston Edwards is off though. :(

Maidenhead United 1-4 Wealdstone (Att: 562)

So we ended our season with a 2nd half onslaught, I know mnb089mnb was at the game (thanks to Twitter) so how did we get on? We played a bizarre 3-5-2 formation from what I could see with Hammond, McGleish and Martin as centre halves but who knows, nothing else matter for this season.

Congratulations to Bromley on winning the league and promotion to the Conference! Too bad we won't get a trip to Hayes Lane next year but well done :)

We were fucking terrible again. Still about 150-200 Fleet fans turned out though.

Roll on next season.

Will be keeping an eye on the Hawks in the playoffs.

Not been to WLP in a few years, so will try make the home leg. Don't really know much about the other teams still in contention except for Basingstoke wanted Ronaldinho lol.

Havant going up would be the best option there IMO.

I had been drinking since mid-day, so all I can say is that Wealdstone were the better team and deserved to win. Maidenhead's form has been rotten since Christmas - only two wins I think - so it was no surprise. A few mates and I were match sponsors for the day so hobnobbed it in the Maidenhead board-room for the afternoon, stayed for the Player of the Year awards too. Great day out.

Wealdstone fans were approx half of the attendance, if not more - their last game of the season. I've seen a few sets of fans at York Road and they seem like a good bunch in comparison to many I've seen. I was outside a pub in Maidenhead during the afternoon and overheard someone wondering why there were so many "Chelsea fans" in town today too.

Aiden Palmer and Michael West join Joe Howe and Lloyd Harrington in signing a new deal with the club.

Delighted. Palmer has looked class since returning from injury and if West gets back to anywhere near his best, he will be good.

Hope so, always check for their result after our own and the last two seasons they stayed up due to a last minute goal and lost out on a playoff spot with a late goal last year.

Good side tbh. But a decent little Club too. Boreham Wood/Whitehawk going up would be a travesty.

Highlights from Saturday. Cracking FK from Sean Lucien for our opener, shocking goalkeeping for our 2nd, defending for our 3rd is pub league standard.

How was St Albans Joe?

Decent enough. Tried out three different pubs which were all ok, if a little quiet. Was definitely much better about though. Couldn't really give a toss about the football tbh, could happily have sat in a pub all through the game. Got to give your support really though I suppose.

£15 to get in is a bit steep at this level though. What's all that about?

It is but they want to try and make money out of people who might have quite a bit of money!

They want to move really but that doesn't seem likely.
