I've not been completely convinced by him so far, especially when having him in the team means that Holroyd misses out, although he was our brightest player early on in the match at Altrincham last weekend.

Desperately needed with just 13 players in recent match squads.

Altrincham sign Jimmy Philips from Gateshead on loan. Any thoughts? Apparently he played for Macc in our game a coupe of weeks back but I don't remember him, such was the mind-numbing quality of the game.
George Bowerman leaves Altrincham for Stourbridge, loan until the end of the season. His Altrincham career had peaked by early September, going rapidly downhill from there.

Sold signing I think. Joined us for the final two games of last season. And tried his heart out for us. Almost scored a speculator last minute winner against Welling.

Very experienced having played many times for Burton in the football league. Still a firm favourite there

Was what can be described as best of a bad bunch when we were woeful defensively early in the season.

However, that said, he clearly had ability and is very strong and powerful - will do well for you I would imagine. He just suffered from a team devoid of confidence and switching from back 4 to back 5 on a weekly basis.

I think it's 3 clubs allowed to go to on loan, and he is signed to Tranmere so only 3 have been loans. (I think so anyway)

Interesting, as on the Rovers forum, it's suggested Alty fans didn't rate him.

So that leaves us with three strikers for two positions, and two of them are unfit.

While the only fit one, Norwood, is apparently only a booking away from a two game ban

I don't know about the fans not rating him, he seemed fairly popular. I saw him play 4 games - he scored in 2 and looked a threat much of the time.
Whether the management rated him I don't know.

Apparently emergency loans or something don't count towards the 2 Clubs.

Not that we'll all have this trouble next season - no emergency loans anymore!

Bizarre isn't it, Brabin loaning out both Stockton and Margetts without giving either a real chance, signing an overweight striker in Higdon who has been about as effective as "tits on a fish" and sticking with him. Must be totally demoralising being a young fringe player at Tranmere Rovers these days.

Crazy isnt it, i'm not writing this fella off, he might turn out to be a great signing, but when Brabin first came in he said he wanted to give youth a chance. Now we have to youth players in Omotola and Ilesanmi who score every week but havent even seen the bench.
