But we were right about Anderton though, whatever the circumstances, he was utter shite when he was with us.

That's funny, because at the time you thought he was decent:

A bit hit and miss, started very well, then had a couple of dodgy games. He then missed a couple with a knock and has been decent since coming back.

Kelly could turn out to be s decent signing for wrexham, turned down football league sides and other national league sides.

We've signed left back Blair Adams from Hamilton. Plenty of games at L1 and L2 level for Cambridge and Notts County, comes highly rated apparently.
We (Mansfield) had him on loan, he was very good for us. Class signing for the a conference Side.

We've signed left back Scott Barrow, formerly of Newport County, Macc and Tamworth.
Brilliant signing. Best LB in the league. Got home sick though with us and wanted to move back to South Wales. I presume he's okay with the home sickness now.

We have announced Ryan Clarke this morning. No more than a short term thing I imagine, but bags of experience, so I'm quite happy I think.

Not sure it is short term considering we've given him a 2 year deal! Same with Gowling and Pittman. I guess that's what you have to do to tempt players at that age down here

Dover have signed a failed trialist from last season Toby Sho Silva (just left Bromley) as Kinnear continues our descent into mediocrity

Don't play him at left-back.
To be fair to Kells, he would be the first to say that LB is not his best position, but he only got torn apart that one time by Andrade, other than that he was pretty solid in the position (but much better at LM) and actually a better defender than James Jennings who came in for him at LB the following year and was woeful (despite being great at attacking dead balls with head or foot and scoring six goals, which was obviously the stat that Virgo used to name him in the Team of the Year that season).

Kells strengths: has a wand for a left foot, virtually never gives the ball away and score & creates goals. Weakness: Susceptible to injury over the last two seasons, can be physically dominated (either by pace, strength or size).

He's a gem at this level though and twice player of the year out of four is not bad.

Maidenhead have signed striker Jake Hyde from Stevenage
He joined on loan last season and never played.

Did reasonably at Barnet, but awful at York and couldn't get a look in at Stevenage.

He'll be our main man in the midfield for sure, him and Wedgbury should be a decent foil for each other.

Fylde's problem last season it seemed was their defence. Looks like they're fixing that. Potential playoff candidates it looks like.

Had 3 years at York and sick or injured for two and half years.
With him and Thompson up front kept physio busy.

Rhys Taylor not a bad keeper though - i wish we were able to keep him last season. Taylor and Lynch will have a good competition between them for the Number 1 spot

plus remember, a keeper is only as good as the team in front of him :)

Only a keeper themselves would come out with that bullshit!! ;)

We've signed Bagasan Graham from Chelmsford. A player I've rated over the past couple of years. Solid signing.

iesty - as you've said Taylor is a very good keeper so I was slightly surprised with the signing. Still, it's good to have competition for places

Good signing for you lot. On his day he'll win you games (kept us up pretty much single handedly in our first season here) but is quite lazy - depends what you want from a striker, a goalscorer or a hard worker.
He's got a good record down here with the bigger clubs - us and Torquay - but struggled with the smaller clubs like Woking and FGR.

Good signing. If you don't ask him to do too much running about for the team and get him focused on getting in the 18 yard box and putting the ball in the net you'll get 15-20 goals out of him next season.
