Eastleigh have signed former York Captain Simon Heslop on loan for a month.
Chester have signed Miles Anderson one a one month loan from Torquay
Until the end of January according to our site. We do need defenders, but most underwhelmed by this signed.

Torquay’s forum seems a bit undecided about him. Delighted to pen him down in the summer but now as equally pleased to get rid after a few months of playing him out of position.

We’re short at the back at the moment with injuries and he’ll definitely be playing at centre–back for us, we’ll see I suppose.

I dont think he could really say, YES i'm really pleased to be leaving a team in the play off spots, to join a relegation threatened team. So saying what he did is a pretty standard response to the question he will have been asked. I remember when Sutton used to take all the players we wanted shot of. How the tide has turned down south.

“..... and getting the opportunity to play for such a big club is great”

He does know he’s just signed for Eastleigh doesn’t he? :ffs:

The VISION is strong in that one.

Natural order being restored more like. Hudson-Odoi has literally been on loan at Hampton all season. Obviously Dos thinks that a spell at a lower end National League club is needed to see if he's good enough for Sutton

If that's the case, that's excellent management by Dossie.

Liam Hughes now confirmed.

Thank Christ for that.
Slow, overweight, he's been one of our worst-ever signings. Some of our fans like him because he tried quite hard and was a bit screwed over by the club, but the truth is that almost all the qualities that a midfielder needs have escaped him.

Interestingly, he played a full season at right wing for Cox, and was nothing short of dreadful. He's had a handful of games filling in at centre back recently, where he's done well just hoofing things away, but if he was in a back four he'd get hammered for pace.

Also frees up £675 a week for us!

Sorry, but I'm pretty delighted with that.

I got that impression from your previous posts! I don't get it really, we already have Purver, Wesolowski and Hatfield for CM. All been out injured but must be close to returning now. All of them are under 6' however. That's in addition to Lennighan, Lawlor and Rooney.

And Harvey...
I wouldn't be so sure that he'd be playing centre midfield - Cox seemed reluctant to ever pick him there. My impression was that he was always in the team to stick him out on the wing and launch goal kicks and clearances at him.

Forgot about Harvey! All these wages are just not sustainable, there has to be movement out soon.

Get used to it. Cox operates a kid in a sweet shop / scattergun approach to signings.

Not going to knock him as we have become much tougher opposition now and carry a threat up front, always having two strikers up there even after going down to ten men recently.

We’ve signed yet another centre back on loan. Think that’s 8 on the books now. Personally can’t wait to see Bondz N’Gala, a player I used to ridicule for being so pisspoor in League One, pull on the tainted red shirt.
