Our top scorer and star striker Tyler Smith has been recalled by Sheffield United for their first team squad - a huge loss for us, but I didn't expect him to still be here after January. He'll make it in the League, no doubt about that.

We'll be in the market for a fast centre forward, probably on loan from a higher level.

Dover have signed Joe Bedford from Southend United. 21-year-old midfielder.
you can tell Kinnear's no longer manager. More midfield signings in 2 months than in the previous 5 years :)

Looks like Jake Cassidy is coming back to us in January Maidstone fans, I'm thrilled, he should link up well with James and their combined goal tally of two.

Matt Green signs for Salford from Lincoln.

He's just basically now getting an even larger paycheck to play second fiddle, this time to Rooney and Gaffney in the league below!

Gonna be interesting to see how Salford get round financial fair play next season.

So Matt Green signs for the club with plastic fans who’ve only been going to games for about 2 seasons........

And then leaves them to go to Salford.

Yeah better contract than here by all accounts, and I suspect he'd have been one of the top earners last season because he's a good L2 striker who could come in straight away for us and scores goals. 2½ year deal as well and he's 32 in January.

The local paper have described it as 'substantial' and it probably is given where Green is in his career and that he was out of contract in the summer. From what I've gleaned, it's non-performance related £100k and they've paid a bit more to get him this side of Xmas.

I suppose I'm glad that we got relegated last season so we don't have to play the most unpopular team since Forest Green Rovers.

Btw we've signed Bradley Jackson from Ashton Utd.

Our signing of Blissett back in January was much joked about but to be fair to the guy he came in a did a really good job giving us a strong physical focal point up front, and scored some really important goals. I.e. injury time winner Vs Gateshead, great header Vs Woking. He just isn't a good enough players for League 2 so a good bit of business for us to get a fee for him. Not sure how he'll do again down here but if Solihull can keep make him a key part of the team he should do a good job again.

Blissett did well last season but isn't a league player. Same with Wilson and Marsh.

Solihull Moors have signed Nathan Blissett
I don't quite understand what Solihull are doing, they can't be promoted with the ground they currently have unless a lot of work is done & can't be promoted by sorting out a groundshare. They only need 6 more points to be safe from relegation......so why do they keep strengthening?? seems pointless when they won't even be able to take part in the playoffs :dk:

I remember Barrow a few years back being told they couldn't take part in the playoffs unless they did certain ground improvements https://www.nwemail.co.uk/sport/bar...ay-offs-after-resolving-holker-street-issues/

He was.
Never reached the same peak after his bad injury. Hopefully can regain some confidence and help you at the same time.

If he finds the form of the 16/17 season he’s comfortably the best player in that division, but he’s struggled since a series of injuries and been anonymous for us this year.

Playing against players he will feel confident against should be good for both Wrexham and Tranmere though.

Brilliant last season, very accident prone this season.
Not sure if you remember, but I mentioned after your 1-0 loss at Salford I saw 4 of your players on the tube going home after the game? None of them seemed too bothered they'd lost.

All four have now left you! Loza, Finney, Mullins and Wynter I think was the last one.

They did nothing wrong at all, but seemed more interested in talking about betting more than anything from what I could hear!
