Given it was a game Ben Tollitt started and think his first booking was in the opening half, when he also scored, can’t attach much credence to your recollection of the Rovers goals.

You wouldn't know chum. Check the accuracy of your comments.

FACT Ben Tollitt started the game so impossible for him to get booked twice within minutes of coming on.

Using minor facts to disguise the fact that he was sent off for two bookings (I haven't got perfect memory as I'm in my late 60s), but what I said about your 2 goals shouldn't have stood and Tollitt was an absolute numpty for the manner of his 2nd booking. We all know what a big team you are. You are so big you dropped from Tier2 to Tier5 in a relatively short time.

There's quite a difference in my book between a player picking up two bookings within minutes of him coming on and being on the pitch for over an hour before picking up a second yellow. It's also quite easy to check some facts by looking at match records. Tollitt was a young kid at the time of the Chester game, he made a meal of the challenge for the second yellow, but there was some contact, when his foot was trodden on. It's far from the worst exaggeration I've seen on a football pitch and not best judging a player from one incident. Can remember some whingeing from Cestrians at the time about Andy Cook's goal, so I looked at the highlights and agreed with the referees interpretation that the goal was legitimate. Can't recall a great deal of fuss made about Tollitt's goal, and the match footage inconclusive, but whether both should have stood is a matter of interpretation not fact. Think this was the game when Rovers fans felt Astles was lucky to stay on the pitch for leading with an elbow on Harris and he scored your late equaliser.

I'm not sure what the point of your closing remarks is? I've nothing against Chester, donated to your fans appeal, when finances were rocky and hope that you can head up back the leagues as Rovers are starting to.

Maguire-Drew has cut short his loan spell, was meant to be with us all season.

Rumour has it he has been talking to other clubs about moving in January so that's why we've not played him for ages. Plus he's not really played well since August anyway, far too lightweight and disinterested.

Reckon he'll end up back at Dagnum.

New owners, and new management since he was here, so I doubt it. Plus our squad is too big already

Jordan Maguire-Drew has signed for Leyton Orient on a permanent deal. I doubt he'll add much to their promotion challenge, he's clearly got talent but puts in next to no effort.

Will be hoping he replicate his Dagenham Form.

JE has improved alot of our young players in the last 12 months and its resulted in us having a very good season.

Lets hope Maguire-Drew can develope like Josh Koroma has.

With Jobi McAnuff 37 years old now and James Dayton injury prone, with both out of contract at the end of the season, I always thought we'd sign a winger pernamently.

Needs a manager to get into him. Still seemed to get the best from him and even had him tracking back by the end of the season. Seems that since then, it’s gone awry. Is Edinburgh the right character for that tough love? I’m not sure.

I don't think he is either. Still was probably that father figure type to him and you would think Barrow could be the same but he doesn't rate his attitude. I think we've got a better player in Tollitt anyway.

The stuff about him being out with a wisdom tooth is BS too. It's obvious we'd found out he was signing with someone a while back and basically froze him out from the squad. Which was the correct decision considering where he's gone to. He needs to lose half a stone as well IMO.

Tollitt is definitely superior (if he can stay fit)!

Scott Quigley's signed for Halifax on loan until the end of the season. Very solid signing for a club in their position.

A few wanted him back at Wrexham but I think we can do better.

Surprised he's dropped down to that level.

Well I did want him back at Wrexham. Oh well, I guess if he doesn't perform at Halifax, he'll probably be heading back to TNS.

JMD doesn't strike me as a Edinburgh kinda signing at all. He doesn't want to put the hard yards in. The work rate of a sloth and a heart the size of a pea. He'll probably start well but then make a sharp decline as per Lincoln, Coventry and Wrexham. Not sure how it worked out so well for him at Dagenham.

If Orient go up this season, he'll probably be back in the NL this time next year.

They could take fondop talem on loan as well as he isn't getting a look in here. Especially as we have just signed grant and are hoping to get another striker in, his chances will be even more limited. A return to the shay to partner another ex wrexham striker may suit him...

I'd rather just offload Fondop, but who would take him? We had a decent summer window but he was a stinker of a signing.

What's gone wrong for him? You were all raving about him a few months back!

God knows. He was scoring for fun in August but just hasn't been the same since. He hasn't scored a league goal since then actually.

Happy enough with the JMD signing. Exactly the position we needed to strengthen, though I doubt he’ll be in the first XI when everyone’s fit. Should stop us having to break up the Bonne/Koroma partnership.

Edinburgh/Emberton have had a positive effect on a number of our players, so I don’t see why they wouldn’t improve JMD. No-one in our side gets away with slacking off.
