Yea the Dennis deal was finally confirmed yesterday; delighted to have Holroyd back if what has been said is true but fairly sure he wasn't one of the 12 offered a contract in the original list?
Someone said that the news of Pilks & Holroyd was briefly on the Player section yesterday, so thats what i'm relying on!!

Surely CH will have been offered a deal, falling in the comment around others are still being spoken to.

Reading between the lines, it looks like Andy Halls has also just been finalising details and will be signing a new deal. He's off on holiday tomorrow so could well be announced today as well.

Good signing for them. Fully expect him to bag around 15 goals at least.
Any Grimsby fans know where he lives?

We haven't had a 15 goal striker since Nathan Jarman left.

Great signing for us.

Great signing for us.

He was playing for Matlock previously so i would hazard a guess at Chesterfield sort of way.

Sheffield I think.

I used to have a kick about with Ross Hannah in my back garden many moons ago.

Pretty sure he was Sheffield when we had him too.

Very happy with this signing

As long as he isn't played on the wing, with Hobo through the middle.

If he lives in Yorkshire maybe, James may consider resigning so they can car share

Ritchie Branagan, our understudy to Rhys Taylor for last couple of seasons has signed for another year. I think he'll be our #1 this year with a youth keeper making the bench.

Jake Green has signed a new contract. Happy with that he played quite well when given the chance last season and expect him to start more this season.

Harry Pell started well for us last season. When he came but faded big time in the final weeks.
We just signed Joe Partington from Bourenmouth. He was on loan at us last season

Harry Pell confirmed this afternoon.

Not sure what to think in all honesty.
I thought Harry Pell was the standout player for Eastleigh when the won at ours last season. Very surprised when they released him.

Very good signing at this level.
I agree about Ross Hannah. The legend that is Stevie Burr has done a shrewd bit of business and from the Silkmen perpective it's great to have Pilks and Richie back on board courtesy of our very own living legend; 'Sir' John Askey :hypo:.

Kind regards

SLS :bye:.

Pleased with Hannah, good signing. He'll start regularly here so that'll hopefully get his confidence up and our style of play might suit him.

He car shared with Magnay and he lives/lived in Leeds, so somewhere around there i guess? :dk:

Very happy with signing Hannah. He's just the kind of striker we've needed for a long time.

Funny you should say that.
Am informed 2 centre backs in talks with us at the moment

Eastleigh have signed central midfielder Joe Partington from us. He's League Two standard we reckon, even L1 at a push if he can develop with a bit of regular first team football. Certainly showed some flashes of quality with us at that level. So should do a job for you.

Not really a signing but Gateshead have appointed Malcolm Crosby as manager, who must be about 80. Think he's the guy who was in charge for Birmingham when they got leathered off Bournemouth.

He was in charge of Sunderland when they reached the FA Cup final in 1992 and I think even further back he managed the old Aldershot FC.

I wouldn't be very impressed with that appointment if I were a Heed fan.

Doesn't sound too promising, we'll see though.

My football knowledge doesn't extend back as far as Crosby's career, but is he particularly known for playing good football? I'm guessing he's a bit more direct, having managed at his peak in the 90s.
