Decent signing?

Always looked to have potential with us, if a little raw. Was unlucky we’re so stocked for wingers, but looks like he’s been tearing it up for Leamington.

Two youth kids from Ipswich have gone back, both made zero impact and Jaden Brissett has been released after his short term contract ended. My guess is we’re making the wage bill light to sign Ogogo on a permanent deal whose loan expired this week, was installed as captain so would be surprise if he’s does not sign.

Our second choice keeper Harry Palmer has left to sign for Billericay. This means we have one senior goalie in our squad and he's on loan.

Alex Bradley's loan at Yeovil ended yesterday and, in a now deleted tweet, said he'd left us. Can't imagine he's likely to end up back at your place MrGloverLover?

We’ve signed Inih Effiong and Calvin Miller on loan for the season from Stevenage and Harrogate respectively.

Think both are more likely for depth than as regular starters. Effiong means we can give Wootton the occasional rest, and Miller is basically a direct replacement for Tom Walker who went back to Harrogate after doing very little.

Also signing a left back today, with Damien McCrory out for the season.

Effiong is definitely trying to chase down the Trevor Benjamin/Jefferson Louis/Richard Pacquette record of the most Clubs played for.

EDIT - Pacquette was on number 38 but that's only until 2018 and J'Lo on number 46 in 2020 so he's got a fair way to go yet to be fair!

If Effiong plays for us as well as he did against us at Dover last season he'll do well.
Would love to see Effiong and Wootton together, could be absolutely brutal if we feed them.

Stick Sam on as well, land of the giants up there. It’s a bafflingly massive strike force for a team that does so much playing it out from the back.

Signed for us permanently now. Had an injury that forced him to miss a few games early on but been very good when he’s played. Not sure where all this money is coming from, since we were told we needed to sell the stadium and there would be cash flow issues by the end on January, we’ve signed 3 permanent players that were contacted at other clubs.

Perhaps Ardley has had a think over Christmas , realised we're not scoring enough and is going to go for power and be more direct.

We have signed Rob Street on loan for the rest of the season from Crystal Palace. Badly need a forward so good luck to him.

Yet he has! Suprised but pleased
Didn't realise he had been injured, his lack of appearances was why I didn't think he'd sign for you.

Jordan Cropper has left us and returned to Burnley. 6 out since Rowe came in now, certainly clearing the decks. Cropper was our best player before he came in and will play at a higher level in my opinion. Suspect he'll be back out on loan fairly soon in this league or League 2.

I'm a bit perplexed how we keep signing players from EFL clubs when we apparently have no money.
Don't think he'd have been on much here, he was signed two summers ago as one for the future after a pre-season trial so I doubt he'll be expensive one for you.

Quality player going forwards for sure. The problem he had when JR came in is that Rowe’s favourite player is also a right back in Carline, and tbf to Carline he’s been outstanding since he joined so he’s quite rightly kept cropper out the side.

Makes sense for Burnley to recall and send him elsewhere where he’s guaranteed games. As you say, certainly good enough for the league above, and anyone in this league would be lucky to have him. Look forward to seeing where he ends up...

Wouldn’t shock me if he ends up with us. Jeff King been one of our better players this season but he’s very prone to suspensions and we don’t really have a second option there. He’s a RWB isn’t he?

Yep, right wing back for sure. Defensively can be suspect at times but if you’re playing him at wing back with 3 centre backs then that right sided CB will be able to cover for him when he gets caught out.

Going forward, as I said, you’d do well to find a full back with a better delivery/long distance shot at this level. Scored some beauties for us along with some absolute pinpoint crosses.
