It'll be interesting to see how many of the presumed wealthy clubs (brothers and otherwise) are REALLY prepared to spend big. This isn't bragging (well actually it probably is a bit) but we have been the one club over the last year or so that have been prepared to 'invest for success' on a grand scale. I doubt very much that going forward the Paddy Madden deal will be a one-off and if we do stay down I honestly doubt whether anyone else will be able to take us on in an 'arms race'. Of course having money to spend doesn't ensure success but it doesn't half help.On the subject of budgets are there any bankrolled tinpotters down here anymore? When we were last here we had FGR and Eastleigh in that bracket and we did our Brotherhood duty by knocking them both out of the play offs, Eastleigh in 2015 and FGR in 2016.
Or will it just be the expected ex league teams with the bigger budgets?
