Loach was excellent for us, only real downside to his game was he’d never come off his line for crosses/corners, got the nickname ‘superglue’ for it, good keeper though and a throughly decent fella too.

We got shafted 2 seasons on the bounce. Absolute criminal behaviour. We became bigger than the league so they threw us out. No dramas though, we’ll be back soon enough. Bossing things again. Playing the type of football this league hasn’t seen before or since. Our 2 star shirt graced the plastic pitches of this division like you wouldn’t believe. Well known posters on this forum would message me before they played us begging me to tell the players to stop playing when we got 4 up. Just got to deal with these northern peasant teams first

Yeah was on loan to us from Shrewsbury, they forgot to put a clause in saying he couldn't play against them and lo and behold he scored 2 for us when be beat them 5-0

Runs around a bit, fairly strong but he ain't a goalscorer at all!

Dinanga is a bad signing at this level, runs around for 90 minutes but just doesn't score.

Sam Johnson signs a new 2 year deal with us. Great news, one of the best shot stoppers in the league. Distribution and coming off his line still needs work but he’d probably be in the football league if he had all those attributes. Happy with that

He came on non contract terms last year after being without a club since Watford let him go at the end of 19/20 amd started to look very decent by the end of the season, good young left back who has spent time at Met Police and on loan at Braintree.

Frustrating player Dinanga. I always got the feeling if he had a couple go in off his arse or something and his confidence got up, he'd be a weapon. He's a willing enough presser and runner. There's only so many chances you can give a striker though before hard work just isn't enough.

I seem to remember Aldershot fans thought he was rubbish, but he was good for us, just very injury prone. Good creative midfielder with a great left foot, we’d have kept if he’d stayed fit.

Pretty much what jacobncfc said. Was hopeless when he was with us, came with a big reputation as Huddersfield u23 captain, but never really got going and was a big disappointment (although our team that season was shambolic so probably didn’t help).
Could be a good player at NLS level.
