Ryan Taylor looks a real good signing at this level

Not many goals, but I'm presuming he's more a creator? Good pedigree, but as I haven't been paying attention to the lower leagues for the last decade or so I dont really know him.

Those sort of experienced forwards who allow others to play around them can be really effective down here.

Great pedigree and always one of those players who looks a danger. I’m under no illusions at how tough this league can be (we’ve been here before) but he’s exactly the type of striker I’ve seen regularly do well at this level

A couple of season ago we brought in Stuart Beavon from Coventry, and he was great just in his general all round play and how he brought others into the game. Unfortunately we didn't sign anyone else to play with him so it was all in vain. But he was excellent

We had Sousa on loan a couple of years back - really didn't look National League standard. In fact I think he got the boot after we got knocked out the cup at Chorley - just couldn't help himself taking on too many players when a simple pass was on.

We are the only ‘going for it’ side so we are pissing the league

Myles Weston has signed a new deal, if he stays fit for a whole season he will have 15+ assists. Just need Khan and Robinson to sign and we’re happy. Obviously a few new bodies required to replace those released.

Erico Sousa signs. One year deal...

I will be very interested to see how he get on with you and your thoughts on him.
I watch Tadcaster when York are not playing and certainly didn’t show much in Northern Premier, but Darlo seemed to of liked and did well.
Also spoken to coaching staff at Taddy who seemed surprised how well he did at Darlo.

When the club tweeted second spell I was lured into thinking it was someone who was with us for a significant period of time, not someone who played 10 minutes for us and then moved to Sutton.

Getting a winger in was of paramount importance so glad that's been boxed off.

Good signing for you lot that. I liked Rhys when he was with us a few years back, deservedly got a move to the FL and surprised he’s back at this level. Good on the ball and a tidy player I seem to remember.
Although, the last ex-Shot you signed was Benyu (probably our best player since dropping down to this level) and that didn’t quite go to plan for you - what happened to him?

Benyu was just too much of a 'luxury' player, his style of play didn't really mesh with how we were playing. I'd imagine that he would have been far more effective in an attacking side that had plenty of the ball.

I always thought he had potential but he never really got a look in here, although when I just checked his Wiki page I was surprised to see he only played 5 games for us as I thought that it was a few more than that.

Yeah, we only had him for a few games in L2 but I seem to remember I liked him. Was brought in by Hurst after we went up, but we also had Omar Bogle and Kayden Jackson and he was jostling with Scott Vernon and Ashley Chambers for third in line. Definitely didn't get a fair crack of the whip and when Hurst went to Ipswich and Marcus Bignot came in he brought in Sam Jones, Adi Yusuf and Akwasi Asante and it was just a case of too many attacking players. I thought Browne looked very promising though.

Good signing, that.

Not a signing for us, indeed one we've let go.

Jordan Williams has signed for TNS on a permanent deal.

Never really happened for him at EP and failed to score in any of his 22 apps (mostly from the bench tbf)

Good luck to him

Are Sam Minihan and Nyal Bell still with County? (Ex Dale youngsters, so want them to do well)

Michael Phillips re-signs from Wealdstone

Really happy about this, he was quality when he played for us before, honestly surprised we've managed to get him back.

Any opinions on this one Bone Idle Roger Stone ?
Will do well at this level, holds the ball up well and will get you goals as long as you've got wide players to deliver decent crosses into the box.
This is the second player you have signed that we have let go, are you changing your colours to black & amber as well. :)

Wish him well. Assuming he plays like he did in our title winning season then you've got a really good midfield there. Keeping an eye on the incomings and outgoings in the NLS there are plenty of teams going for it.

We've signed keeper Grant Smith after he decided we were a better bet than Chesterfield
