So no reason he couldn't have lived in York and played for Halifax then.
We have the smallest budget in world football didn't you know? We probably only offered him a bag of skittles and free entry to the Acca

He'll fit in well then

He scored a cracking goal vs. Eastleigh in the Trophy but my overriding memory of him was that he was far too lightweight who had 0 bottle. That and as Stoney Ground said, little end product.

Maybe he’ll go well at Yeovil but he was signed by Neil Smith at Bromley and then didn’t get a look in once Andy Woodman took over.

Not a player but a new surface, £250k new hybrid pitch all paid for and maintained by West Ham due to their ladies team using us as home stadium. Our long standing groundsmen have been made redundant. We’re the new Boreham Wood.

We are also

having a new pitch laid. They haven't said if its normal grass or anything fancy though

Any plans for that terrace behind the goal?

Yeah the Kop redevelopment is part of a major redevelopment scheme for Wrexham by Welsh Government, along with a new transport hub for the town, Welsh Football museum and a few other bits and bobs.

itll be sad to see the old girl go but she's a massive eyesore

No idea really. I always thought he looked fairly decent, but obviously very young and not the finished product by a long way. That was a couple of seasons ago now though.

We loaned him out countless times, but he never seemed to play, however i thought he was good, and people linked with the youth section of the club were angry to see we let him go as he could have been a future regular.

from the Wirral, so Southport will work alright for him, as long as he gets a season pass for the tunnels

Seems he had a clause when we signed him saying he could leave after a year if we didn’t go up.

To be honest, he’s got a bit of a cheek saying he ‘needs to be in the EFL’ after his performances for at least three quarters of last season. Was good under Burchnall in those last few weeks, but can’t say I’m that bothered really.

what type of midfield player is he?

Good question. Under Ardley, one who mostly contributed endless sideways passes and risky Cruyff turns on the edge of his own penalty area. Under Burchnall, a box to box one who looked a lot better but probably still didn’t affect games as much as he should.

not a no nonsense tackler then - that's what we need....

Absolutely not in any way. He’s going to League Two, just not said which club yet. More than likely heading back down south I would guess.

Not a new signing as such but Michael Doyle has accepted his new assistant head coach role which only can be a good thing for us

Craig Tanner has left us to join Ebbsfleet.
Shocked by this, been unlucky with injuries over the last few years (including a very bad one with Motherwell a few years back) but in terms of quality, he’s easily good enough for the Football League.
Speaks volumes about us as a club right now that our best players would rather play in the division below. We’ve currently made no signings at all, just been a total radio silence since the season ended.

Elliott Justham has signed a new three year deal after signing a new three year deal last pre season, so a years extension to his current one then.

We have signed Darren Stephenson what should we expect.
Played a few games on loan for us at the end of this season. Works hard defensively, didn’t particularly strike me as someone who would do a job for us long term at NL level. Very loose touches at times but did score a nice goal on the final day. Could be ok at NLN level at a guess.

He had a good couple of seasons at Chorley, but personally I wouldn't want him back. Never quite the same after a knee injury and has suffered a broken leg since.

I liked Stephenson during his time at EP. Could be quite a frustrating player at times as he can carry the ball from one end of the pitch to the other but then lose it too easily trying to do too much.

Plays best off the left wing. Best game I saw him play was vs Maidenhead in the FA Trophy. Tore them to shreds that night.

Keep him fit and full of confidence and he'll be an exciting addition to the squad.

Don't know much about him, but another signing were his former club are singing his praises and not laughing at us like most pre seasons, so got to take it as a good sign

That looks an interesting signing, kind of one we made to really good effect in Cal Roberts. Sousa can settle in as the Vanarama’s second mercurial Portuguese attacking midfielder.
