Jesus, reading this it seems Alty are on another planet, never mind league,.. financially compared to some clubs in NL. One of only 3 part-time sides I hear next season,.. its gonna be a long hard season methinks

I would imagine Callum McManaman is on a fair amount at Tranmere. As I was saying in the L1 forum earlier today, I'm not sure that a top L1/Championship move really stacked up from a Clubs point of view for Mullin.
One good season, very limited L1 appearances, 27 years old, a team seemingly set-up for him and there was no way he was going to get a three-year deal out of anyone and I bet some would've only gone one year with an option. I'm not sure the options were really there for him.
Even then, would he have been a starter and got enough game time? Probably not. Then he risks being a bench warmer and being a forgotten man with a couple of loan spells to try and get some game time.
Wrexham will have obviously had to offer him a decent deal to drop down to the NL but that's the same whether it was Mullin or another decent L2 player. Happens in every league, every summer.
Only 3? Who's gone FT? Sure we had about 7/8 last season - you, Dover, Weymouth, Woking, Maidenhead, Kings Lynn - might even be more!Jesus, reading this it seems Alty are on another planet, never mind league,.. financially compared to some clubs in NL. Interesting stuff! Didn't know so many had taken the plunge, especially given the current climate! It's Alty, Dover and ourselves who are the three part time clubs in question.
We've always had a interesting partnership with Wrexham which began when we Signed Andy Fleming back 10 years ago
We've gone full-time????? Bloody typical. Nobody tells me anything. Unless the e-mail went into the junk folder, I suppose. It's Alty, Dover and ourselves who are the three part time clubs in question.
He had to RetireHow is the crab man?
Hybrid is what weve been told. We've gone full-time????? Bloody typical. Nobody tells me anything. Unless the e-mail went into the junk folder, I suppose.
Maidenhead are definitely not full time. It's Alty, Dover and ourselves who are the three part time clubs in question.
Maidenhead are definitely not full time.
Therefore by definition are part time although more full time than some others!!!
Wtf does that even mean?
Most full time clubs only train 4 times a week at most. They have the day after games off to recover and wednesday off even if they haven't played tuesday. Tranmere Rovers do monday, tuesday, thursday and friday mornings.Bit like what Alty Pieman has said above for Weymouth, Maidenhead must be utilising the hybrid model which typically consists of 3 morning sessions per week or a variation of morning and evening sessions.
Sounds like us, the Toyota Prius of the VNL - hard-working, but not much to look at and won't win any prizes.Hybrid is what weve been told.
