Heard from a Cambridge fan that Solihull paid Cambridge 25k for Andrew Dallas
Have they signed him? I always hoped we might put a bid in. That would involve spending money though and there's more chance of seeing an elephant fly over my house on a magic carpet than that happening.

People play for Grimsby for the chance to experience the salt sea Cleethorpes air and pull on the famous black and white shirt. They have never paid anyone more than £300 a week and they never will.
Believe it or not back in our Championship days one year whilst chucking money at it to try and stay up we signed the Chinese National captain (Zheng Enhua) on loan and rumours at the time are that he was on only 3k a week less than Mullin’s rumoured to be on now, such was our desperation to stay in the Championship.
It worked too Zhang one of the best players I’ve ever seen play for us, insanely good and we stayed up that year.

It would also involve Pete Wild, a football genius, concurring with this idiot's assessment, which is less likely than a PINK elephant flying over his house on a magic carpet. :ds:

...We’ve also loaned Joe Rowley to Kings Lynn for 6 months… personally don’t think we’ll see him in a Chesterfield shirt again...

What is he like? Our recruitment structure leaves a lot to be desired (back to back promotions doesn't help) and we just don't seem to have the same PL/EFL connections as other clubs plus being located where we are means we don't seem to pick up the loan deals other NL clubs are able to. Just to prove the point, this lad was 'heavily linked' to us before going to Southend, if Norwich would rather send players to other NL clubs then there is something amiss unless we are getting someone else in from them within the next week.

We’ve signed a youngster from Norwich, Matt Dennis, on a season long loan.

He's alright, he's got some ability, he just needs a rocket up his arse. He's been with us for seemingly years now and never really kicked on and made the shirt his own. His career hasn't really started and with the right attitude it would have

Dennis had been with us on trial with a view to a loan deal since the very start of pre-season so I think we was always in pole to get him tbh so I wouldn't read too much in to that.

Albanian defender Geraldo Bajrami is set to join Kidderminster #Harriers on non-contract terms. He left #BCFC recently and had some interest in L1 & L2 but nothing progressed. Good for him to go and get games now.

If he does well for you I can see him staying with you permanently as there’s just too many players ahead of him in our squad now.

He’s a number 10 it’s as simple as that, many different managers have tried to shoe horn him into the side because he’s a local lad and played him out wide / deeper / wing back etc… and he really hasn’t performed in any of those. He needs a consistent run of games in number 10 and to feel like he is loved and I genuinely think that the promise he showed as a young lad when he broke through 4 years ago will FINALLY be unlocked.

This is his last chance at this level IMO before he starts dropping down the leagues for good! Hope he does well for you

Thanks for the comments re Rowley, we certainly need attacking midfield options having lost Henderson 12 months ago (in the NLN team of the year) and then Sonny Carey (to Blackpool) this off season. We still have King who is who certainly has the ability to play at NL level but is made of glass and is out more often than he plays so hopefully Rowley will be given a run to prove himself and maybe the fans will accept it isn't worth paying King a full-time wage for a part-time footballer.

Nothing confirmed yet so we'll wait and see. But Cb's of Bajrami, Nathan Cameron, Keith Lowe, Alex Penny and Cliff Moyo (currently injured) should put us up there as one of the best defences in the league.

Wasn't he decent for Maidenhead the other season? Eastleigh look strong this season.

Great finisher and free kick taker but much of the game passes him by, it's like playing with 10 men at times. Needs quality alongside him in attack to be effective.

As confirmed at the weekend by Dulwich and only today by us Darren McQueen has gone there on a season long loan, we will more than likely announce Aaron Blair now with the funds spare. Really tight ship being run with a very small squad, if we get hit by 4 or 5 injuries and suspension we will be struggling to name a bench.
