Our squad does look pretty bulky on the side of things. on the top of my head (I may be missing a few).

GK - James McKeown, Max Crocombe, Sam Russell (coach)
LB - Adam Crookes, Sebastien Revan (loan)
CB - Shaun Pearson, Luke Waterfall, David Longe-King
RB - Michee Efete, Ryan Sears
CM - Harry Clifton, Ben Fox, Giles Coke, Luke Spokes, Alex Hunt (loan)
LW/RW - Joel Grant, Sean Scannell, Erico Sousa, Max Wright, Will Bapanga (loan)
AM - John McAtee
ST - Lenell John-Lewis, Ryan Taylor

Transfer Listed: Ira Jackson Jr, Filipe Morais, Joe Starbuck, Duncan Idehan.
Probably got a handful of first and second year pros on max £200 a week.

I'd say we are on about 26/27 to be generous. I think that the latter 3 on the transfer list will find clubs, Morais has had a decent career and still very very good on the ball but has no legs so might be one we struggle getting rid of.
You are paying players £200 a week max ?
Are you sure ? As that's below the minimum wage and I am not sure its legal

I'm hazarding a guess, at a push maybe £300. Don't forget these lads are mostly below 21, but they are on absolute peanuts.

Of course that's only if they pass and make it back from their North Sea trawler voyage induction with a net full of haddock.

Well obviously. You want to make sure they are real men. And if the sea takes them, well then that is just natures way.

The crazy spending has reached the depths of North West Counties Prem with firstly Congleton paying Tom Pope and Gary Roberts a combined £12k a week (plus expenses) but we've gazumped them with us giving Alex Bruce a 7 figure signing on fee plus £18k a week.

Whilst the parachute payment is £500k more than the rest of us are getting it's still a damn sight less than you were getting last year.
Is it still £500k? I can vaguely remember they changed the parachute payments three or four years ago but I might be wrong there. I had it in my head the payments were slightly down after the change.

EDIT - I think Clubs used to get a 100% PL payment and 100% EFL payment first season then 50% of each the next (unless they went straight back up) but now only get the 100% and 50% of the EFL payment. No PL money. So the £500k is about right.

Max Wright, who is 23 years old, is on £300 pw and that’s a fact. Wouldn’t surprise me to hear others are on less.

Fenty also told him to get a second job when he was here.

Do you remember when tranmere were in this division and they had 36 pro’s. How do you compete with that, I mean we absolutely walloped them that season but 36 pro’s at conference level. Crazy

Trialled with us this summer. Has a physique and a half - short and stocky, a bit like Akinfenwa but not as big. Did quite well for us during pre-season but was never realistically going to sign with McCallum, Balanta, Wilson and Walker on the books. Think we took him to make the numbers up in friendlies more than anything. Still, I'd say he's perhaps better than some of what you already have.

I dont think we've walloped Tranmere since the 80s, but I'll always have the memory of Kayden Jackson making Fatty McNulty look stupid at Prenton Park. Great times.

Dallas has joined Neal Ardley’s solihull moors. He will almost certainly against us tomorrow to spark a meltdown the likes of which hasn’t been seen since… we lost to York last Saturday.

I remember when you were in the NL. Shouldn't you be in League 2 now.

Ohhh a man we were tentatively linked with scoring against us in a friendly? There’ll be fury and anger.

We’ve signed a youngster from Norwich, Matt Dennis, on a season long loan.

Few new signings knocking about today.

Have they passed my FFP regulations?

Yeovil have signed one of our promising youngsters - Sonny blu lo Everton.

Attacking midfielder I think.
Any idea what he's like? Been with us training for a week or so.

It's interesting that he says he likes working with Darren Sarll and he gets the best out of him, considering Sarll was academy boss at Watford when Sonny was 16 and Darren left under quite a cloud with allegations of bullying.
