Really good news for us - Anthony Patterson has rejoined on loan from Sunderland until the end of the season. Outstanding young ‘keeper and a big improvement on Slocombe who I don’t mind but has had a shaky season.
Was it discussed on your forum about if he'd have played for Sunderland upon his return, whether or not he'd be able to go on loan to anyone else? It's something we're wondering about with Towler, if he plays for Bristol City does that mean he can only then go back to us, as it would mean he's played for two clubs? Someone's on thefishy thought it had been extended to three clubs last season but I've not read anything concrete about this season.

Sunderland specifically said that they didn’t play him in the Pizza Trophy because that would’ve meant he couldn’t go back on loan to us, but not sure about the playing for too many clubs in one year thing (or even whether it applies at this level, some players seem to move around all the time).

*Looks up Ollie Kensdale*

I'm not sure it was worth the effort lads
Easy after years of struggling to slag other club’s players because your sugar daddies have arrived. Your welcome to Lennon total disloyal cnut. Anyway best wishes for the new year and looking foward to playing you next season

Alright touchy, it was a joke. Even at our worst state I'd have been a bit unsure about signing a kid who has yet to reach double figures for appearances for people like Havant and Concord, when in a relegation fight. He might be great though.

How long is he injured for roughly?

I haven't seen them say a date . He dislocated his shoulder. It's been reset but I think the healing time for that can run into a couple of months? not something you want to mess about with or it can reoccur

Players are so fucking selfish getting injured all the time. What about our needs?

Probably, looking at Lennons record at Southend. Cursed isn't the word.

Hes been really good for us this season to be fair.
He's been our best centre half, he is a quality player IMO and we need to get him a new deal.

Probably helps he's in a decent team now not a loser Southend team.

Good for you Englishred, we were mostly glad to see the back of Lennon and most col u supporters on our board and ones that i know thought Kensdale had a future with them and were dismayed to see him released. I am very happy we have signed him. Ball carrying C B, who can also play midfield, and under 25, whats not to like.

Lennon has really impressed me this season. I must admit I had reservations given his horrific injury record but we seem to have managed his game time brilliantly and hopefully we will get a lot more games out of him this season.
He could actually turn out to be one of Parkinson's best signings.

I think the appointment of the Republic of Ireland physio has our Head of Performance has probably helped also as he has revamped the whole nutrition and medical side of the club. They constantly talk about managing game time of the players and recovery time.Lennon is one who has benefited from this

The idea of ronaldo doing a SUI celebration away at kings Lynn is brilliant. Make it happen Wrexham.

Stockport County.
That Orsi who scored a fair amount at this level for Maidenhead this season has signed on loan for Borehamwood from Harrogate. Decent signing for them.

Just about to post this. Wood have a knack for signing players who have done well at this level.

Aye, never anything surprising really about their recruitment but whenever someone with a track record down here for a southern-based team pops up they always seem to get them.

Yeah that’s a really good signing - surprised someone like Grimsby weren’t in for him.

Garrard just doesn't miss. Orsi is an excellent all round centre forward. Does everything well. Seems like he just can't get into the Harrogate team ahead of Luke Armstrong.
