last year's Everton under 18 captain Jordan Thorniley joins us on a youth loan.

Just a couple of back up players to add to the squad now I think but our first choice team is pretty much sorted.

What worries you about Centre Half?
Agree on the striker front, if we had a nippy little forward with a decent goal record record I would say we had a shot at being champions.

But that would leave us short of quality out wide.
I like the look of Ellison but it sounds like Young is going to bring in another loan defender, hopefully someone who is versatile.
I think we could look very good in the 4231 with one of the big men as a lone striker, especially now we have added Montrose.

Ellison looked very good last night but I don't think he will be staying. This loanee seems the perfect fit, young, pacy,left sided centre half in between the experience of Roberts and O'Hanlon. I do worry how long we can keep him though. I think Lees will be gone sooner rather than later personally.
My big worry with the defence is Morton but hopefully he can prove me wrong.

Unless he's massively upped his game I'd worry about Baggie potentially playing up front. Excellent at beating opposition players and running with the ball but shooting is definitely not his forte.

You say that but his 3 goals for us have been brilliant strikes

My point was more based on us giving the opposition something different to think about rather than 3 big lumps upfront

Yep, we had him on loan two seasons ago.

A bit 'meh'. Didn't do a lot here but came with a decent goal-scoring record at Hereford - admittedly not over many games. IIRC, his main problem were injuries.
