I'm finding working from home difficult. It seems to be much more challenging at home and I'm struggling to adapt and to separate work and home and switch off.

My brother is off with 80 per cent pay and I feel that he is the lucky one right now!!

I've been working from home as a sole trader for the best part of a decade now, and I can never switch off - there's always something you feel like you could be doing. It's tough at the moment with my partner off work downstairs though, she usually goes out to a coffee shop or something when she has a day off which is obviously out of the question.

The Step 3/4 Leagues (Northern Premier, Southern and Isthmian) have all declared their wish to end the season forthwith, either declaring the season null and void or establishing a final table on a points per game basis. I've been working from home for 2 and half days now, and the distractions are certainly different.

I'm trying to keep it as normal as possible, including following my normal lunchtime routine of playing some darts and then eating at my desk. The odd interruption from the kids has actually been quite pleasant.

I can`t see that all the 91 teams that started the 2019/20 season will be able to start whenever we get going again.

Agreed with some above, I’m working from home on a laptop with 1 small screen as opposed to 2 pretty decently sized screens.

I got bored about half 2 and mowed the lawn.

That’s true, but on that basis they’d still need to promote someone to recreate the 24 sides. There’s no way league 1 will play with 23 sides again.

Yeah Barrow will go up. It just depends on whether they want to relegate Stevenage/promote Harrogate or someone else.

Can’t we just relegate Stevenage and Morecambe then bring up Barrow, Harrogate and County. Job done.

Interesting point as it would be a 23 team league again in L1 and that’s assuming every club survives this financially.

Swindon have the best PPG but the issue with promoting based on current positions is that a team that’s played all the poorer sides but has a tough run in left is at an unfair advantage on one that’s got a decent run in left so leaves an unfair balance.

You could base of finishing the table by taking your results against the teams left in the first half of the season to make it have some kind of balance but even then it’s not ideal.

You either scrap it and start again or finish it whenever it can resume even if late 2020 and balance out next season by my regionalised idea or potentially do summer football for 2-3 years which resolves the farce of 2022 World Cup scheduling (but requires Euro 2021 to be played in the winter break then)

Yeah, I'd struggle to work from home I think (I can't really transfer my job to home anyway so I'm still in an office.

Seems like everybody's only interested in what happens to their team than anything so I'll do the same.

As nobody knows who's going up and who's coming down from L1, I'm going to go with this year's L2 sides. Here's what the South and North divisions would look like next season.

Effectively all leagues and football below the National Leagues North and South has been expunged/completed for the 2019/20 season.
An ominous announcement for our league if the current situation continues for much longer.
