Feels like a number of teams have done the majority of their business but we haven’t got the car engine going yet . Though Okonkwo is a cracking signing.GK - Arthur Okonkwo, Mark Howard, Luke McNicholas
RWB - Ryan Barnett, Luke Bolton, Anthony Forde
CB - Eoghan O'Connell, Max Cleworth, Tom O'connor, Will Boyle, Aaron James(youth)
LWB - James McLean, Jacob Mendy
CM - George Evans(Covers CB), James Jones, Andy Cannon,
CAM , Elliot Lee, Jordan Davies.
ST - Paul Mullin, Jack Marriott, Ollie Palmer, Steven Fletcher, Sam Dalby, Billy Waters, Jake Bickerstaff.
Bickerstaff, Waters won't be here long, Can see Dalby getting a loan move.
Still a few CBs, CM, ST short.
Probably a LWB as McLean has been used as a CM and Mendy is injury prone. Davies won't be good enough for this league either.
What's going on at Lincoln? Has Jez been fudging the numbers again?
I see you had a big loss on your last accounts and players not agreeing new deals. From the outside it would seem all is not well but I could be wrong.
Same as last year but with considerably less players.
(13 less to be exact)
...but some of our youth players are a year older so is it all bad?...

As others have said, it's probably the opposite and we're as well placed as we've ever been in L1 both on and off the pitch. Obviously not to the point we're suddenly going to win the league or fighting for automatics, mind! What's going on at Lincoln? Has Jez been fudging the numbers again?

Probably looking at a minimum of 5 players to come in. Would just prefer the majority of them to come in before we go over for the tour.
Haven’t you always done your business late? You have the big budget that you can wait for the players holding out for Championship clubs and then pick them up if any move doesn’t materialise.Feels like a number of teams have done the majority of their business but we haven’t got the car engine going yet . Wycombe have recruited well. Bakinson and Udoh are two very good signings. Hartridge too is a good player, although wouldn’t be playing him LB.Unusually, we've sorted out our key business pretty early doors.
I think the squad as it stands looks decent, though of course the new signings (ones in bold) are somewhat unknown quantities in terms of how they fit into the team and our playing style.
Ones with (*) by their name can cover more than one position, just so it doesn't look like we've got 92 players.
As things stand, I think we are looking mid-table at worst (12th-14th), if the stars align and we don't get hit by too many injuries then we have an outside shot at the playoffs, but only outside, mind.
Maybe a few more loans to come in, I would guess, but I think we'd be pretty solid in terms of numbers even if we had to start the season tomorrow.
ST: Udoh/ Kone/ Vokes/ Hanlan*
Attacking Midfielders: Lubala/Sadlier/McCleary/Hanlan*/Wheeler*/Leahy/Ward/Pattenden*
Defensive Midfielders: Scowen/Butcher/Bakinson/Leahy*/ Wheeler*/
LB: Harvie/ Leahy*/Hartridge*
CB: Tafazolli/ Low/ Hartridge*/Grimmer*
RB: Grimmer*/ McCarthy/ Pattenden*
GK: Bishop/ Ravazolli
Update since posting this:We’re looking pretty solid so far, but still a fair bit of business to do:
GK: Shaun McDonald and Harry Lee
Defenders: Pierce Sweeney, Will Aimson; Jack Fitzwater; Cheick Diabate; Ben Purrington; Ed James
Full backs/ wingbacks: Jack McMillan (new signing); Ilmari Niskanen; Caleb Watts; Vincent Harper
Midfielders: Reece Cole; Pedro Borges; Charlie Cummings
Attacking midfielders: Jack Aitchison; Demi Mitchell; Yanic Wildschut
Strikers; Josh Magennis (new signing); Millenic Alli; Sonny Cox
So we have well over 15 senior pros signed on and I reckon 6-8 to come in still. Midfield needs a lot of work and we also need a first choice’keeper. But otherwise it’s mainly adding depth.
Just on a side note regarding what you said above; Are the owners just cashing in on every asset? I see you have included us in the category AA games charging £37 for us, Brum and Charlton? Taking the piss, init.Unsurprising that 4 of the bottom 5 have ripped up their squads from last year, but that Crawley figure really sticks out in a bad way. Are the owners just cashing in on every asset because they assume this is going to be the peak of their value?
