Maybe its time just to let all these athletes take drugs for asthma - they all seem to do it!

Probably the last thing British cycling needed as a sport but cannot say I am surprised..

Shame Sky will shithouse their way out of this again.

To steal a tweet I saw... it is rather interesting the timing of Sky’s big Froome/Grio announcement when they knew of the test.

another reason - other than it being more boring than golf - why cycling is rubbish

I know nothing about cycling but isn’t salbutamol a very “old school” drug to get done for? Don’t the Sky team claim to be taking sports science to the next level...?

Depends if Salbutamol is tip of the iceberg (i.e. use of blood bags).

Tony Martin. Boom.

Guys, less than two weeks before Caleb Ewan has his only decent week of the season!

(Is Salbutamol officially under the carpet yet?)

I'm in again too, Back In The Saddle.

First points on the board today, along with most other people by the look of it.

For a very brief moment today my VDS team were 7th overall thanks to Bardet, Schachmann and Latour.

Then Naesen thought he was Sagan and fucked up his chances of winning Omloop and now I’ve dropped to 106th.

Any giro predictions?

I’m thinking 1. Froome 2. Pinot 3. Lopez

Ideally I’d swap Froome for Chaves so hopefully Sky’s usual giro form shows up.

Before this afternoon would have said 1 Dumoulin, 2 Froome, 3 Lopez. If he steers clear of crashes and the shits, no-one is going to outclimb Dumoulin enough before he rinses them in the longer TT.

After today, I would probably swap Froome for Pinot or one of the Mitchelton-Scott boys. I love watching Mitchelton-Scott race and if they focus on one of Yates or Chaves, they have a bloody good team with Haig, Nieve.

Anyone but Froome and Dumoulin and I'll be happy. It'll probably be one of those fuckers though. I'd love if Pinot or Lopez won.

I'm not going to watch it until it gets to Italy, which is a stance that hurts nobody but me.

I do love Bet365 at grand tours. Carapaz 150/1 for the stage last night. About the only thing Peter Coates is good for.

Froome, 22/1, lulz nice one b365.

Wondering if he'll now do what Nibali did post-acupuncture. Although, I don't think he was any stronger than Yates today. Yates seemed to let him hang out there and never let him have more than 10 seconds. Yates would probably have gone with him from the start if he didn't think he was about to drag Pozzovivo and Lopez with him.

Kinda wish the TT was slightly shorter now. Just short enough to bring them all back to within a couple of seconds of each other.
