Paul Warne today played down reports that he may be wanted by some supporters of Doncaster Rovers to succeed Darren Ferguson at the Weepmoat Stadium. In a hastily arranged press conference, he told the eager throng of hacks “Let’s get one thing straight. I Fucking hate pikeys. Feed them to the pigs Harold”. At which point a Wednesday fan looked up from his ancient Nokia phone thinking the buffet was open.

Brilliant, remind me where are the begging buckets for Rotherham stored again, you may need to wash them out.

How to make friends and influence people ehh Beaufighter?

Way too late for that. We’ve been the go-to hate figures on here ever since Evans took over. Had dogs abuse just for being a Rotherham fan on here so fuck it, go with the flow pal. It’s just light hearted banter anyway.

Good idea.

Maybe you could both car pool the 160 miles to London?

At least it would happen on the gold paved streets rather than the cobbles of South Yorkshire.

Hasselbaink and Irvine have shot up the bookies odds, wouldn’t mind JFH actually. Incredible job at Burton, decent at QPR and then a disaster at Northampton which was an unwise move for him in my view as a better club would have eventually gone for him.

Irvine would be pretty crap but I’d still prefer him to Wellens or Redfearn.

McCall down to second favourite but he’d be a decent appointment, as would Grayson and Heckingbottom although I wouldn’t be surprised if especially the former (Grayson) was only linked with us due to their locality.

There are six being interviewed and no idea who they are. It doesn’t take a lot of money for the odds to shorten in this type of market.

I wouldn't say a 27% win rate is decent, especially at a club like QPR.

I don’t judge managers on how they’ve done at QPR, he did an okay job with a bunch of players from league 1

I saw a tweet linking us with Marquis. What would he cost and is he worth it? I don't think we could afford it so it will probably be bollocks.

He’s got 2 years left on his contract and scored over 40 goals in 2 seasons so going on previous striker sales over seven figures
