I do apologise for the language. Hopefully I'll be okay in the morning...

You're allowed to swear. We're all adults here (apart from JJH)
Funny, funny.

Cotterill sounded like he was ready to pack his bags in his post-match interview. 'Not good enough' 'not enough belief' 'we're nowhere near sides like this' 'we could have had 12 men out there tonight and still got battered' 'too many players making the wrong decisions', when asked 'what can you do about facing teams like this?' He said 'I don't know, just don't know'.

3-0. And let's not have a meltdown when it happens.

Oh look, people are having a meltdown. What a surprise. We were never going to win this game, never, but scrape 3 points away at Huddersfield and suddenly everyone's in a ridiculously positive mood "Derby shouldn't underestimate us! We're a good side! You never know! etc... etc.."

Fucks me off

Yeah, over-optimists do my head in whether we win or lose. If we win, they overdo it, and if you lose they try and put a positive spin on things.

Take it as it is, we all knew we were going to lose tonight. I wouldn't say let's have a meltdown, but let's face the facts here, we just got absolutely battered by a Derby side who didn't even have to get out of first gear. We were light years off them.

Questions have to be asked, explanations are needed etc, but it's the same as it has been all season. We're in deep shit, however you dress it up.

Crap line up but obviously saving Kodjia for the more winnable game.

A predictable defeat and a predictable response from the drama queens.

Just as well I couldn't get hold of a ticket for QPR earlier today.

How much did Derby's squad cost to assemble and how much are they paying their players, answer those and you'll get your answer as to why tonight was very unlikely to be anything other than defeat.

Maybe not change the formation for the first time in years on the back of an away win? Maybe don't play negative football with 6 defenders too?

Still don't blame Cotts for the state we're in, mind.

What is your problem? 'Drama queens'? Grow up will you. Maybe you belong on OTIB as anyone with a different opinion to you gets called childish names just like on there.
While I don't think SC is good enough at this level, I see no reason for your childish jibes.

No meltdown here Aaron just the same opinion I had before the win at the weekend and the same opinion I will have if we, hopefully, win next weekend. Getting hammered by Derby is no disgrace and we won't be the only ones so no overreaction from me (apart from at TTOCS's drivel).

Lol wasn't particularly aimed at anyone in general, but with that response, well...

He's quite clearly a WUM. Surprised he hasn't blamed Freeman for tonight yet, but it may well still come.

Not sure what he gains by attempting to wind up his own same set of fans, and I'm fairly certain if he went on the wind up on OTIB he'd get far more amusement out of it, as the majority of City fans on here are genuinely good posters.

You seem very angry TBH, a bit like I used to be.
Why are people being drama queens? I really don't get your point, if there is one. Apart from name calling that is.

I can't see where TTOCS has been "wumming". Nothing wrong with anything he's said. By drama queens he's clearly referring to the stupid reaction by many on here and OTIB (which I dread to look on)

Fair enough!
Some people have extremely high passions. Bad language is allowed on here and I don't take offence from it.
I do wonder if SC isn't going to talk himself out of a job though? I will say, questions need to be asked over his selection this evening, injuries / illness allowing.
We may still have been stuffed but I guess we'll never know. Something is clearly not right at BCFC after the appalling summer. I would love to know what went on?

This is a comedy.
'Is there any encouragement to take from tonight?'
'No, none, none'
Next up at Ashton Gate.....

Not in this thread, I think he has raised some valid points, but the persistent Freeman scapegoating. Admittedly he hasn't been at the races every game this season, but he still doesn't deserve half of the flack he gets.

Quite right Aaron but unfortunately an alternative opinion to the majority makes me a 'WUM'.

I think Freeman is overrated, deal with it.

But I haven't said anything about him on this thread!

Maybe so, but he's been no worse than 5 or 6 other players this season.

Now, your right to an opinion which is different to the majority, I will defend!
That's the point of a forum isn't it?

You were playing Derby tonight mate? What difference does that make to QPR?

I've got fuck all money at the moment, so if I want to spend £29 on a ticket alone, it's something that I have to seriously consider.

Fair enough, I still don't see why tonight's result would affect your decision, you could play unbelievably well against QPR like you did away at Boro or at Huddersfield. Not trying to get at you pal, just a bug bear of mine :)

I don't get what I perceive as petty name calling, it's the sort of thing my kids used to do when they were little. Unnecessary IMHO. If someone disagrees with another poster, don't call them names, discuss the point.
It's not difficult, just inflammatory TBH.
