Need to make a change as we’ve done nothing going forward this half

Pen was softish but gave ref the chance, otherwise we seem to be letting Oldham give it a go and bar that and one other they've not done much with it but given our regular defensive cock ups bit risky.

Another physical side that we struggle against. Still just need 6 points maximum from 4 games

Should've beaten Salford - doubt their equaliser even crossed the line, but officials couldn't wait to give it to them.

Great performance from us, just pure effort again and that's been the difference these last two games. And great results for us elsewhere.

Happy with the draw, pissed off about the manner of it.

Entertaining game with both sides having plenty of chances, Mansfield better side before the goal and Carlisle better afterwards.

The goal not given in the first fucked us over but we didn’t do enough afterwards.

Scunthorpe next. Money on them getting their first win in forever. I really cannot be bothered anymore with this club. We've nothing to play for and the wasters still disappoint me. Luckily I can't afford a season ticket next season so silver lining and all that. Don't think Hughes will be here at Christmas if honest.

You're 3rd with three games to go
Rovers have three easy games we’ve got to bounce back which isn’t going to be easy. Injuries taking their toll and were miles off today, we’d threatened a poor performance for a couple of games now.

3 easy games? The next is the league champions in waiting. Rochdale wont be a pushover away either. Ill give you Scunthorpe but we have struggled against relegated teams in the past. Still all to play for

Sutton 1 Newport 0. The 2nd half was pretty much defence v attack, although Newports best chance to equalise came from a misjudged Louis John header.

Whilst I did spend the 2nd half watching through my fingers, I’m delighted with the result.

We wuz robbed. Would have to see the penalty again, looked soft at the time. That aside County were all over Sutton for most of the game and should have won. Glad to see the team turn up for 90 minutes, a much better performance than against Crawley.

Season over and we pay the price for the three previous garbage home performances.

What a fat waste of space that Matt Smith is for Salford, by the way. Seen him twice against us in recent months and he's just lolloped about like a tranquilised bear. The show on Quest said he was the signing of the season...

Im surprised at your decline. You looked decent in both games against us along with Exeter

Not good enough all over the pitch, the goals were extremely poor defending.

Ref was atrocious though too.

Fuck sake vale.

It was soft, but it was a penalty. A silly challenge on an already stumbling player.

It was one of those games where a team gets battered for the majority of the game yet still wins. Saying that Newports best chance to equalise would have been an own goal from Louis John.

3 easy games, our next being FGR, where a point will officially promote them?

Vale fan saying season over is literally the biggest knee jerk reaction I’ve seen on here

Right so we’re fully back in the playoff mix and thoroughly deserved the points against an Exeter side that I expected much more from.

Stevenage next. Please can we just win an away game. Pretty please.

Gutted we didn't hold on for the three points which would've seen us safe, but I would've taken a point beforehand if I knew Oldham were gonna get beat and Stevenage somehow draw. Looked like it went out for a goal kick before someone nodded it "in".
