We got a point. Yippee, but we were two up after 18 minutes, but a point is a point.

0-0 was a fair reflection of the game. Both defences were dominant however some of our decision making going forward was baffling.

3 draws in our last 4 games. Not a good time to have our worst run of the season.

Fortunate to go in equal at the break, but much better 2nd half and could have been more at the end. Very big result that, feels like a huge 3 points.

Dreadful ref at Weymouth v Maidenhead. Manny Parry sent off for a clean sidefooted tackle and that handed all the momentum to Weymouth. Any playoff hopes gone now.

I tell you what Devon Loch will be looking down cheering Hartlepool on.

My arse would be going like the clappers if I was Sutton United. It was theirs. Gift wrapped. They can't. Can they?

They’ll win it easily, even if they only win 2 of their games in hand they’ll still be 8 clear with a better goal difference to boot.

I was joking to be fair. They've been picking up some solid draws really.

Win for us today at Aldershot, didn't watch the game but we've never ever won at Aldershot in our history apparently so good to put that embarrassing statistic to bed.

We’re trying to make it look competitive as we’re generous people.

28 games. 13 points. How is that even possible? Are Barnet playing without a keeper? Have they just given up? Are they playing trialists? Chuck us a bone national league hey. We’re primed and ready here. We have 2 stars on a shirts. These knobs wanna give up. Kick them out
We’ve got 3 stars, so no.

Not much to say about our match except that we made an unexceptional side look like world-beaters yet again. We defended farcically in conceding our goals and we got a player sent-off, as we seem to invariably do.
We must have set a National League record for sendings-off in a season.

Big win for us. Marching on nicely with Rowe.

4 centre backs now injured with Hollis going off so expect us to try and bring someone in if Maguire or Gunning aren’t back next week which I’m hoping they are.

Kerr from Torquay looks a great bit of business. Monday off which is nice thanks Dover than onto next Saturday!!

Pools deserved to win that but only just, not sure how we did not get a pen if in the box when Balanta was pulled back at the start of the half but with the level of officiating at this level I expect no less.

McMahon will no doubt say how well we did in both games against pools but it’s still two defeats on a bigger budget. We’ve scored 30 goals this season, dreadful return with how pony defences are at this level.
Thought it was even first half, but second we were more in control & Daggers didn’t really create anything, while we had a few chances.
We had two good shouts for a pen, when Feath was tripped in the box & deffo when Bennett was dragged down.
Anyway,we’re not brilliant ,but do keep grinding out the wins,

Id like to see this Barnet side play Hyde from 2013/14. Lol

That Hyde team actually cared, in fairness. They just had no quality at all.

This team doesn't seem to care on any level.

Had Wrexham’s early pressure paid off we might have gone under.

As it was, we battled well back into the game after that. Not sure either side really did enough to win it tbh but we’ll take it. Pleased for Burchnall, hopefully this should temper some of the crazy comments of the past week.

As Jacob says though, our hopes basically rest on Roberts. Even in his 15 minute cameo you could tell what he brings to us. One of the few with a footballing brain.
Did the game improve in the second half?
I watched the first half & thought you were both awful to be honest.

A draw is okay today I think. Eastleigh are another team in the play off mix and it’s not going to be easy at their place. JR has already said we’ve exceeded our ‘Points target’ that he wanted over this period of the last few games including Eastleigh, so really that makes this one a free hit when you consider that!

A point keeps the same gap between us and them and we maintain our game in hand. 3 points would be lovely mind.
3 points certainly is lovely!

thank you Danny Wright for getting us a win. Even first half but we produced nothing , very weird not having Jake Andrews on the pitch as he is totally left footed , had armani little for an hour . wright obvious first game since xmas but at least he could keep thee ball up there.

They love a draw, usually after they start winning a game. What about our record this season all 10 wins coming by one solitary goal, I live for the day we win a game comfortably.

Certainly is, how many 1-0’s is that under Rowe now!?
No idea but we love a clean sheet under Rowe.

Serious injury worries for me now at the back with Gunning, Maguire and Hollis out. Could we switch to a back 4 with Kerr and Yarney? Certainly wouldn't want it to be that scenario for more than a game or two.

Hopefully Gunning / Maguire aren't too far away. Carline can do a job there too but he has been excellent at RWB.

Said when we played you a couple of weeks back you’re a very good team, you could argue we have a superior squad but it means nothing when you have a poor manager and half a squad that can’t be bothered or are not motivated for one reason or another. Your guys fight for everything, did anyone notice McCallum today apart from his shit hair to go with his shit attitude.

I think Pools will go up through the play offs, manager has the experience and solid teams just do that. It really doesn’t take a team of stars to be promoted from this league, those that have chucked money at it this time are not doing so well, bet Sutton’s budget is less than half of ours or Stockport’s.
