28 games. 13 points. How is that even possible? Are Barnet playing without a keeper? Have they just given up? Are they playing trialists? Chuck us a bone national league hey. We’re primed and ready here. We have 2 stars on a shirts. These knobs wanna give up. Kick them out
We are playing with players our limited budget allowed for. We don't all have a chairman who throws big money around trying to win things. Are your 2 stars an acknowledgement to the amount of supporters you have.

The last time we were in the same division our attendances dwarfed yours. Buck your ideas up. 13 points. Taking the piss

Stockport County.
Fyldefan is roasting the Barnet lads here. As a self appointed referee, I'm waving this fight off. Bee Sting's legs are wobbly, his eyes look dazed and the punches are not letting up. In the interest of safety, I have had to step in.

No idea but we love a clean sheet under Rowe.

Serious injury worries for me now at the back with Gunning, Maguire and Hollis out. Could we switch to a back 4 with Kerr and Yarney? Certainly wouldn't want it to be that scenario for more than a game or two.

Hopefully Gunning / Maguire aren't too far away. Carline can do a job there too but he has been excellent at RWB.
Hopefully with the 8 day rest we’ve got now we can get at least one of Gunning and Maguire back. I can’t see Rowe moving away from a 3 at the back system that’s served us so well since he came in, even with the injury problems we’ve got.

Hollis picking up that injury is a huge blow though, he’s got to have been the most in form centre back in the league since Rowe came in. Just hope he’s not out for too long...

Aldershot (and Boreham Wood, apparently )
0-0 was a fair reflection of the game. Both defences were dominant however some of our decision making going forward was baffling.

3 draws in our last 4 games. Not a good time to have our worst run of the season.
All going to plan, then, gradually drop from top-spot, and blow it in the playoffs.
All a bit predictable...

Stockport didn’t have to break sweat today against a pedestrian Shots side that only started playing when they were 2 down. County are a shoe-in for the playoffs, and top spot is not beyond them with that formidable squad.
Shots need to contract in and retain the half-dozen decent players that we have, or we’ll struggle again to build a reasonable side. Ho hum..

Everyone takes the piss out of Flyde. Not even a proper place let alone a proper club.

I suspect your "limited" budget isn't as limited as you would think. You offered £50,000 for Jacob Mendy and to double his wages. Brennan was offered nearly £100k salary to take over and a wage bill significantly higher than ours.

Hollis has been our star man - hope he bounces back to the same form when he eventually returns... which may be pre season if rumours are to be believed re. achilles.

The budget started out extremely low, then increased sharply when Flowers came in.

Unexpected point at Bromley for the Stones. Raced into a 2-0 lead but our fragile defence couldn't hold on. But good to stop the rot. Harbottle - the loanee from Nottingham Forest - really does look quality. Like the look of Ryan Gondoh too who joined us recently. The rest? Nah.

Said when we played you a couple of weeks back you’re a very good team, you could argue we have a superior squad but it means nothing when you have a poor manager and half a squad that can’t be bothered or are not motivated for one reason or another. Your guys fight for everything, did anyone notice McCallum today apart from his shit hair to go with his shit attitude.

I think Pools will go up through the play offs, manager has the experience and solid teams just do that. It really doesn’t take a team of stars to be promoted from this league, those that have chucked money at it this time are not doing so well, bet Sutton’s budget is less than half of ours or Stockport’s.
Dunno if you can say you have a superior squad, you have a few 'names' at this level but overall having taken 6 points off you and the difference in league positions, bit hard to say you have better players.

You're right on one thing though - we have very few stars but all of them are comfortable on the ball, work hard and we are well-drilled.

We haven't played today but some good news for us. Pete Wild (the gaffer) and his assistant Milly Have agreed new 2 year deals with the club..

These 2 have taken the club from perennial relegation Dodgers up to play off challenges. They have their flaws and things they still have to learn.

But they have also got us playing some decent football on the deck.

We were pretty poor again today but Danny Wright is back! Looked like he'd never been away to be honest, came on for the last half an hour and showed us exactly what we've been missing. Not only the goal but just his all around nous. Still wouldn't start him on Monday though as two games in two games after so long out is too much of a risk.

If we can get Nemane and Whitfield back for the play-offs we just might stand a chance.

You can take the word ‘trying’ out of that paragraph as well. There’s an edit button. Do the decent thing and use it and I’ll say no more about your outburst

No need to take the word "trying" out. You have won fuck all of any importance. When you actually win the NL i will change my stance.

I think I might have called it off too early.

That's a decent combination that;s been put together by The Stinger. Fyldefan came out the blocks very quick but he could have gassed himself out here. His corner are telling him to stop walking in to shots and that his early round dominance will reflect in the score cards.

Decent fight this. Nothing like the Fight Night we had the other week with the Halifax fans though.

A bit but he's a passionate guy from what I can see. I've only been back on here regularly this last 12 months so don't know what if anything has gone before.

The last polls that were ran (well before YOUR time on here, you boring twat), I walked Most Annoying, and Most Entertaining, Most Hated, and Most Loved, Most Boring, and Most Lively, Funniest, and Unfunniest, The Poster I'd Most Like To Meet etc, basically top in ALL categories, good or bad. Sorry. :ds:

I've been the same from Day 1 all the way back to our promotion in 2013 (on the original forum, where I founded the Brotherhood), as those who've been here with me will attest. ShayShite can be forgiven for not being aware of that, as he only showed up this season, since we appeared to have re-established ourselves as a Top 10 team. He'll disappear just as soon as the wheels come off. :ds:

Rowe just understands that's how to do it at this level doesn't he. Pox and scrap and craft the points however you can but stay organised. It doesn't have to be pretty.
That’s it, the secret formula to success in this poxy league. You showed it at Aldershot. That’s exactly how Sutton are doing it. As an extra, start getting in the ref’s ear...
