Been out for months, comes back for 10 mins suddenly typically against us and basically changes the game. Then injured immediately afterwards for the foreseeable. Wrexham that.

‘Afforded him some extra recovery time’ apparently. Hopefully just a case of us being ultra cautious.

Obviously not having him fit is a huge blow to us, but I really feel for him on a personal level. Being injured must be difficult enough, but it must be doubly hard when it’s as a result of an illness we don’t fully understand yet so no one has any complete answers about it.

A player like Roberts needs to be involved to get his ability to the level we have seen. I dont think he is one to do a great deal coming on late in a game. Dont get me wrong I want him back but we need him for 70-80% game time, a player to rest when we have a lead not a bit part player.

I think he's in a bit of trouble too. Jake Reeves lost two seasons with a groin / hernia problem that doesn't sound too dissimilar.

Hard to say really. Let’s just hope the club’s official line isn’t just spin. It would be a bit daft to take him all the way down to Surrey for 10/15 mins off the bench when we have a huge game next Saturday. Fingers crossed it is indeed ‘extra recovery time’.
