I listened to the Chorley v Wolves game on TalkSport and later watched the winning goal.
By the heck the TalkSport presenter should be sacked.
He made repeated reference that the Chorley goalkeeper should have done better when in actual fact it was an unstoppable wonder goal that few, if any, goalkeepers could have stopped.
Chorley did well but it was an expected result.

I watched the game and agree that it was a great strike. No fault to the keeper but the midfield/defence did let him stroll forward to take the shot. It was like watching Crawley. :)

I shall spend my evening cheering on CTFC. Good luck.

I've had 3 bets today on the game - 1-0 to Cheltenham, 7-1 to City and Will Boyle first scorer.

Mahrez, Gabriel Jesus and Foden. Christ, that's going to be a tough front line for the Robins to deal with.

Cheltenham have been brilliant, no shame in losing this after leading so late on. Harsh on them.

Well done Cheltenham.

Nothing like playing against a team that is essentially a soft power outlet for the United Arab Emirates #magicofthecup

Just for while I thought Cheltenham were going to do it.

Alfie May...you got him from Doncaster didn't you? Same place that released Max Watters. Someone up there might need to look for another trade because they don't seem to be able to spot a player.

Well played Cheltenham. Unlucky.

Reminded me a bit of when we lost 3-1 away at Chelsea back in their peak under Mourinho. Went a goal up, they brought on Lampard, Cole and Crespo at half-time and then we finally buckled in the last ten minutes.

Bloody good effort from Cheltenham that.
Tight decisions for city's first 2, but so pleasing that No VAR!
Not sure how C19 has affected our likely team for Tuesday, but 9 years ago as a L2 side we won at Championship Hull in the 4th round.
Come Wednesday hopefully still in it to play at Fulham/Burnley.

As an aside, of all the seasons to have no fans at, we've had this one!
All games I'd love to have been at.

Looked like a back pass late on?

Cheltenham did L2 proud, it was a good game of football and it didn’t look like there was the gulf between the sides that their places in the football pyramid would suggest.

Just seen this today, didn't notice at all at the time but it was pretty blatant! To be honest though even if we'd scored it and gone to extra time our legs were gone and we'd have lost about 7-2 in the end.

So so proud of that performance, I'll never forget that feeling when Alfie scored.

Crawley beating Leeds and Cheltenham doing themselves proud against Man City disproves those who say this season's League 2 is poor.
In actual fact it is the very reverse with most teams capable of beating every other team in division. That could be reason for no runaway leader.
Every team down to Crawley in 12th spot must consider themselves in the promotion mix with perhaps Mansfield and Oldham also included.
I feel sure auto promotions will go down to the wire..

Crawley have announced there are five players and one member of staff who have tested positive for covid 19 after the latest series of tests.

Based on these results the club are cleared to play against Bournemouth tomorrow (Tuesday)....I dont know the rules regarding this.

There is, and nor should there be, any indication of which people are infected though I would presume we must have at least one keeper available.

So proud of the boys - I said I just wanted that big moment and boy did we get it. Thought the 3rd was a bit harsh, but we can hold our heads high.
What was the firework display during match all about?
Was it prearranged?

Just found answer to my own question.
The display had been arranged weeks ahead and took place on the famous Cheltenham Racecourse, only a couple of furlongs away from Whaddon Road.

Ummmm - what?

That display was in December. What happened Saturday was a few bellends copying what some Stockport bellends did, but in the Parklands Social Club behind the ground

Okay reply deleted, but what was the background for firework display.
It was a bloody good one that the television viewers got to watch for free.

Bit light on the bench for Crawley tonight but the team starting is not bad.

Adebowale is a centre half but I'm expecting him to line up as a right back.

New signing Rodari on the bench.

Here's hoping.

Our passing has been woeful.

If we come out if this without conceding a hatful I'd be surprised....but we are still in it.

We have been woeful and really look like we haven't played in nearly 3 weeks. Adebowale is not a footballer. Only positive is it's 1-0

I said Cheltenham were unlucky I'd have to say we were lucky not to concede more.

Saying that Bournemouth keeper had to make a good save and we had a shout for a pen. Ref booked Nichols for diving which was a bad decision. May not gave been a pen but it wasn't a dive.

We kept on trying but they were better than us.

Thought Bournemouth were very sloppy in front of goal and should have scored loads.
