HT 0-0
should have been 2-0 down inside 5 mins, but we've had the better chances since.
Dmitri Sea has hit the post from 20 yards for Barrow.

I thought it was a reasonably good showing by our fringe players and a couple of them should be in contention for a start in the league, especially Scott Wilson who should be above Zouma in the pecking order.

Still frustrating to lose on penalties after yet another cup/trophy 0-0 but there you go. Quigley's penalty has just bounced past my front door.

We should at least be a lot fresher Morecambe on Tuesday where we really need to start picking up a few points in the league.

I didn't watch it as I was at work but it seems that we rode our luck judging from the comments on our guestbook. With a couple of our players injured and playing catchup due to covid, it wasn't our strongest starting lineup. Nik Tzanev (2nd choice goalkeeper) kept us in it by all accounts.

Oh well, Crawley at home on Sunday and the opportunity to welcome Dannie Bulman and George Francombe to Plough Lane.

Good luck to Barra for the rest of the season, a club that I have a lot of time for. I've met a few of your supporters on a couple of occasions and am FB friends with one of them - one of the nicest people I've ever have the good fortune to meet. Hi Dave if you're lurking.

I'm guessing that's Dave Ingham - not sure if he's on here or not.

Francomb is out injured (broken arm). Bulman may play but tends to have a coaching role more nowadays.

We may get to see Ollie Palmer ? I dont think he has been pulling up trees for you since his move but he always did OK for (and against us).

Thought Brackley gave a really good account of themselves and I certainly wouldn’t of begrudged them had the game finished 0-0. Just a moment of quality from Kayne Woolery the difference between the two teams.
Unlucky Brackley!

Yep fair play to Brackley who look a really decent outfit. Wish them all the best for the remainder of the season.

Always a tricky game against teams like that. Oxford City and Southport took us to replays recently... First half against Chichester last season wasn’t easy. But we’ve done enough to make it into the hat for Round 3 to make it 7 wins from our last 7 in all comps and that’s what matters!

Oh dear. Poor goal conceded, and Page goes off after 20 minutes with a bad injury. Concentrate on the league then.

Just hit the post going for a 4th. 5 bloody minutes of injury time. Need to hang on, extra time is the last thing we need

HT 1-1 @ Bradford. Since their penalty we’ve absolutely battered them. How this isn’t 1-4 to us I’ll never know. Well, I do know. Finishing hasn’t been great.

About as good as I’ve seen us all season this last 30 minutes.

Hope we dont regret not taking advantage, this game should be over already.
Dare i say it, i think we are starting to look a good team, still with players injured.

£87k for the next round. will take that.

plus always nice to see a furious Steve "Fatty" Evans screaming abuse at his players on the touchline. :)

As per every week we were horrendous, 2-1 flattered us.
McCall out? No, he’s rewarded with a one year extension.
