Thank FUCK for that.

Not sure how, but job done for today. Yes it was a bit shit and the team was wrong etc, but fuck it, we did what we needed.

Now to put in an actual performance in the last game and carry some confidence into the knockout stages.

Does Bale still think he's in Spain? That interview was dodgy accent to say the least

Well that is why we love the game I guess - one game a late one hurts but the next its delightful!

Deserved that and credit to Roy for his changes.

Corrected.

And fair play to Rooney, he's been brill in midfield and shown he still has something to give despite not scoring many goals these days.

At some point between now and Wales' next game, Bale will need to find his way out of Eric Dier's pocket. Very well marshaled. If only Hart could hold a ball!!

Kane was average again, yeah.

Forster, Sturridge and Vardy should start against Slovakia.

Did enough to win today, but still miles off the top teams. Enjoyed it though, at least we went for it. Seemed like a cracking atmosphere as well, fair play.

If we beat the Slovaks, it puts the Welsh through doesn't it?

Rooney's been superb in this tournament.

I'd start Vardy/Sturridge/Wilshere for Kane/Sterling/Alli.

Yeah I think Roys one saving grace so far is his deployment of Rooney in the mid. It's a deeper role than he played at Utd and he's excelling in it.
Unsure how Roy will set up for the next game.

No, everyone can go through still but if they lost to Russia then 3 points is unlikely to get them through in 3rd.

Worst performance by any team against England in 10+ years. Wales were utterly dreadful.

Sterling was Shit, Sturridge was awful barring the goal gave the ball away wastfully every time. Kane was poor again. Rooney should take all our corners they all went into a dangerous area at least. Hart would have been slaughtered if he were any other England keeper at Any other tournament

rashford looked decent when he came on. lallana was much better in this game after the shocking display in the first game. Rooney been good in both games as has Walker. Rose was ok today nothing special

He really wasn't. A few wasteful shots but he didn't give the ball away "every time" and he certainly wasn't awful.

What? Why? They got their set piece goal and then defended with their lives, what were you expecting? I thought they were brilliant.

Last gasp but deserved, tidy finish too.

The Welsh look a bit daft after giving it out big time, awful from them.

How about starting with the correct team rather than making the same mistakes he made last week then changing it at half time? No credit to Roy from me I'm afraid.

Bit harsh, thought they defended quite well, bodies on the line etc. Obviously they aren't a top team (other then 1 or 2) but given their population and the fact that football isn't even their main sport, they're doing pretty well.

We'll win the group, as we should do given it's probably one of the weakest. Should have a decent last 16 draw and then who knows?

Yeah it's a bit harsh, Wales' executed their plan well and it so nearly came off. I mean that Sterling chance aside we dominated but didn't create too many clear cut chances. Wales got their superman (and some luck) to bag them a goal, and their plan was spot on. Even after the equaliser we were banging on the door but it looked like a stalemate, which would have been fine for Wales.

What a game. Why oh why aren't you playing as Great Britain already?

Who from Scotland and Wales would make it in the squad if it was based purely on ability? Bale? Ramsey? I don't think anyone from Scotland would. Still, it could be worth it just for Bale I guess.

Maybe a tad harsh but for all the praise and how great we've been told they are recently. they were above us in the rankings not long ago. they were dreadful and barring a goalkeeping howler they had 1 shot on target and about 4 more in the whole game and 3 of those were pot sots form 35 yards. They were time wasting on 47 minutes and trying to hang on. the last 25 minutes they barely got out their half or even tried to.
