The full name is the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. It's called Great Britain for ease mainly but NI isn't part of GB.

I think it was a low risk on his part, we'd been wank again first half with his first choice side so he had nothing to lose really.

I assume you didn't watch any of their qualification games then. Or when he carried Spurs and won Premier League POTY. To be fair, a lot of the star players in the "one man" teams in this tournement have been pretty shit so far. Lewandowski didn't have a sniff vs NI, Ronaldo was poor vs Iceland, Alaba, Zlatan, etc.

I thought we dominated possession and were largely in control, but played better against Russia. Delighted with the late winner though, seemed like it wasn't going to happen.

As many have already said, Sterling and Kane were ineffective in the first half and were deservedly hooked at half-time. Vardy and Sturridge certainly impacted the game and effectively won the game for us, but neither were brilliant I thought.


I'm happy we won this one, and we should really be topping the group with just Slovakia to play.

They had one awful stroke of luck when Hart decided he didn't want to be a goalkeeper anymore and the rest of the game was completely dominated by England, same story as the other night, if England had taken their chances they would have won the game by 3 or 4 goals.
