Great goals.

Exeter are just a better team with better players. No shame for Lincoln, a good first season back in the FL this was just a step too far.

Well done Exeter. Boateng streets ahead of anyone else on the pitch in both games.
Best of luck in the final.
Look forward to kicking lumps off the rest of you next season.

Probably going to be my one and only post on the League Two forum.

Matt Rhead is a fat fucking diving prick. Looks like he hasn’t read a book in his life. 1 goal in his last 20 games.

Well done Exeter, deserve to go through and all the best at Wembley.

We're not good enough, lots of huff and puff but Exeter have that quality throughout the team where it matters.

No shame in what has been a great season for us and gives us a platform for next season.

Best of luck Grecians

Exeter been the much better team, still Lincoln have had a fantastic season and should be able to challenge for the play-offs against next season.

Here comes Troy Archibald-Henville to bulldoze Rhead off the pitch

Cracking season. Wembley win and being in the playoffs only a year after coming up.

Exeter far better than us, good luck in the final.

Are you keeping Rhead? Battle vs McNulty will be fun.

Decent game this, one of the better play offs. Lincoln not had much luck from what I've seen.

Has Cowley ever lost a game where he hasn’t been “unlucky”?

I hope so, purely for all the piss boiling posts on here about him.
Players like him just play within the limits of their game and use every advantage they can gain. Doesn't stop me hating him though!

Fair to say we've not had the rub of the green tonight. We're two fairly evenly matched sides but as Luke rightly said before, Exeter just have that extra 'something' that we don't have. Incredibly proud of our efforts this season and I'm confident we'll come back stronger next year.

So glad that we don't have to play those thugs again next season.

Rhead is an odd one, has looked poor on the occasions I have seen him this year either on TV or against the Vale.

With a better target man Lincoln could take that next level but he seems a weak link to me at this level. Doesn’t score many and seems to spend more time fouling or going down like a sack of shit.
