So because of one fan who has hit the coach (disgraceful and already condemned in a club statement) you want the whole club to fail at Wembley? That's big of you.
I was literally next to it when it happened. Your pathetic 70 plus year old tripped over a 15 year old when he was running and the matey shoved him in retaliation. There was no punches thrown despite him falling to the floor. Grow the fuck up you bellends. You lost.

Before the end when you fans came over to goad us I would of wished you well and hoped you’d gone up, that and the violence left a sour taste in my mouth. Celebrate with your team yes but to try and wind up fans who have travelled a hell of a way on a Thursday was unnecessary in my opinion.

Ps I do believe I said you deserved it so you know I can deal with the fact we lost as you were simply better.

Caption this Ollie Palmer, sometimes tweets come back and bite ya

See ya next season, we look forward to welcoming you. Such a dreadful shame it didn't work out for you, being the decent, well educated man you are.

Whats wrong with that?

Commiserations Lincoln - I really thought you were going to go up with the momentum. It would have been fantastic too as in 2017 Sunderland were Prem & you were conference. In 2018 the two could faced each other in the league!

Fair play to Exeter, hoping for either Exeter or Coventry to come up this season.

Because, which you probably won't have noted, is that every tweet seems to have some dig in at us. Not exactly a shock that he chooses a lucky goal against us as the picture

He's a class A twat. Couldn't be happier for the lad

Anyway, being serious apart from him, I'd expect Lincoln to be a realistic force in league 2 next season, now that the players and management have got their feet under the table and know the deal

To be fair to the lad how some of your lads treated him whilst he was there and then when he left hardly surprising he’s got a chip on his shoulder.

Bizarre thing is Tisdale could get Exeter promoted and then leave

Ollie Palmer only has himself to blame for how he was treated, it’s usually not wise to slag a club off that you have just left.

Wow! What a prediction a play off semi finalist with a talented manager(s) , a season’s more experience will be a realistic force in L2 next season’s . Well thanks for that fountain of knowledge.

I notice the 3 Stags players in the photo were already practicing their sun lounger sunbathing pose in this game.

That’ll be the effect of Flitcroft’s arrival#handbrake

People have been saying that for years. I can't see him going anywhere

I just assumed Palmer getting stick was down to his poor goals return or something.

That didn't exactly help, but the club did everything it possibly could for him. He got his first "big break" in league football with us and the club had high expectations for him, the manager and the chairman really looked after him, and the fans, to their credit never really got on his back. When he left, he launched an extraordinary tirade about us, which pretty much gobsmacked everyone with how we treated him, ungrateful springs to mind. No-one really understands his reasoning, but it's fair to say those fans who gave him so much time to improve when being provided with modest (at best) returns, didn't take kindly to it. So that's why we're where we are.

It's against him - we'd have took delight in him failing whether he was at Exeter, Carlisle whoever, it's not really got anything to do with the fact he plays for Lincoln

Im not sure. Seemed a few Exeter fans on the train would’ve been happy to see him go and with the MK Dons job going could see him moving there.

Looks like our keeper had this tweet ready and waiting :fl:

Feel sorry for Lincoln fans obviously as they seem a decent bunch, but I'm LOVING the fact that thuggish Rhead experienced some karma

I think Rhead has burnt his bridges with referees by going down too easily too often and other antics like in the final. The amount of times now you see his shirt being pulled off him or being used as a climbing frame and getting nothing to me.

A rather odious lot the Lincoln staff and players it has to be said. I never realised.

Bit harsh. First thing Danny said yesterday when asked a leading question about the referee was that Exeter where the better side and deserved the victory. Seems a lot of fans have seen Rhead and presume the who team are like it when they arent

I've seen it suggested that the Cowley brothers were caught out last night and shown up for being quite one dimensional. It certainly seemed that way over two legs but it seems strange to think they'd have gotten away with it for so long, or have they?

Surely there are no question marks about that! They play long ball , to a plan and it’s been successful. No subtlety in the approach, and worked against the majority of teams. Impressive season back in the football league#stain

Lincoln very poor team and and a Sky Sports club like Reading. Everything wrong with modern football

The extra 6,000 fans who have supported Premier League clubs for the last 50 years can go back to supporting them now and let the 3,000 Lincoln fans support their club.

Well done Exeter! How long now for Lincoln to be relegated back to where they belong?

Good to see the dirty cheating outdated c***s get beat, what a joke and embarrassment they are with their air raid horn and that fat bastard pub team striker of a thug up front.

This is the football league not the Non-League, so get with the times or fuck off!

They got us to the play-offs in our first season back with Matt Rhead and Ollie Palmer as two of our main three strikers. It's a great achievement. And let's not forget a lot of people on here were predicting us to "be the next Cheltenham" at the start of the season. I know it's difficult for you, but give them the credit they deserve.

We were caught out last night because Exeter are a better team, as Cowley admitted last night. There's no shame in that.

Too right mate. Woeful club with 3,000 fans. One of the smallest clubs in the league.

One dimensional doesn't give you their CV, either.

Although, and they said this early doors in the season, hence trying Knott as a number 10, Rhead on the bench and signing Freck and Pett in January, that you need a few more technical players in L2.

They tried changing earlier in the season but it didn't work, just like they tried last season and it didn't work either.
