Colne away please, if they somehow win at the Heed.

How about this for a club badge? Tinpot-tastic. Est 1996 and it shows.

But apparently their burgers are great, and free as well -

One team getting a bye is great news. It gives me hope that we might actually get through to round 2.

Hope is a great thing for a human to have.

I'd like to go to a new ground, not too far away, so Poole Town away please.

Though we will probably get Rochdale.

Always have nightmares about when we were live on BBC, (Lineker, Hanson et al...) on a Sunday lunchtime away at Canvey Island and getting stuffed 1-0!! :ffs:

We managed to blow a 4-2 lead against them going into injury time to then lose the replay! One of the many horror shows, smashed by Enfield 3-0, beaten by Chasetown (think that’s still the biggest gap between two teams that have been giant killed), Scarborough, Grimsby (when non league) that’s just the ones I recall at the moment! Even needed extra time in a replay to see of Ford United! Adding to Grantham, Dartford and Maidenhead that have taken us all the way to a replay.

Sunderland was decent last year though even if we lost.

Think we’ve only ever lost once to non league opposition, and that was in the 70’s or 80’s. So non league at home please, or the last team out. Colne would be good if they got through, only takes me about 25 minutes from where I live.

Any team with an 'and' in their name, any team from a town I've never heard of or any team with 'sports' in their name.

What even Brighton and Hove Albion? Or Sunderland?

Looking forward to drawing Plymouth away and not going there.

Our draw will be monumentally dull, as it always is. Plus we'll probably go out.

Since we dropped into L1 and started entering in round 1 back in 06-07, we've drawn 4 non-league teams, only 2 of which have been away. I know the odds suggest you are more likely to get a league team, drawing 4 non-league teams in 13 different draws is a bit crap.

So we'll probably get a middling L1 team at home and go out in limp fashion, as we always seem to do. God I'd love a cup run though, haven't made the third round since 08-09. Any advances on 10 years since making round 3?

...agree for the first two games, though our past record at attempting that is not covered in glory, then Spurs away in the third round please!

I much preferred the FA Cup when we were viewed as a minnow and a potential banana skin, we don't get that tag until the third round now and it isn't a stage we have reached too often.

It would be brilliant to make the fourth round, for the first time ever, and be the team that everyone was fawning over.

I always enjoy when we get a non-league team like Shaw Lane the other year, would not mind being against a decent conference premier team unlike Guiseley who were one of the worst teams to play at the mill in years.

I’d quite like Chichester away. My dad is from there originally and my grandad played for one of the teams there before they merged into the current club. Even if I couldn’t get an away ticket I’d have a decent chance of one in the home end.

Maldon & Tiptree would be good too, reasonably local. Failing that, any non league side or bottom half of League 2 team at home please.

Sadly, local ties in the first round are largely a thing of the past since they did away with regionalisation.
I think we have played teams from the North West 10 times out of the last 15!
Can we start a campaign to bring it back?

We already have regionalisation in the league cup and Checkapaintboycott Cup. Getting drawn at some godforsaken northern hellhole you’ve never heard of like Curzon Atherstone, Blythe Whippets or Bradford City is all part of the FA Cup charm.
