Dulwich Hamlet away is the type of tie I wanted and one we should win.

However...

This season, with this clown as our manager, I wouldn’t back us to beat a Sunday morning kids team. I fully expect Dulwich Hamlet to be safely through to the second round and for Pressley to bring more shame on us.

Shrewsbury away. Shite.
But like the Crewe fans, it’s a good test to see how we’re coming along but not many will be interested in going. Shame it’s not at home or I’d have made the effort.
Can see us winning if we play our starting 11.

Maldon and Tiptree at home, they're 4 leagues below us and have won every game this season and they're a Colchester feeder club..............

If we lose this, our players will not be allowed home................

BBC and Sky currently in a HUGE bidding war for who gets rights to show Grimsby v Newport.

Sky currently ahead with their bid of £25 having completely blown the BBC’s bid of £15 out of the water.

Bolton away. Winnable. Decent ground.

Could have been so much better though...

7 nights in a Cleethorpes static, bookended by the kings of total EFL2 football battling it out for league and cup glory, what’s not to like.

Chippenham away. Upset potential of the round, BBC need to get on this one.
Or will it be Salford again?

Bolton away. New ground and the mrs is away that weekend! Chance of winning too.

Would have preferred non league at home or away but can't have it all.

Was slightly disappointed Nantwich didn’t get a league side at home, but they were at home unlike the previous 2 times.

As for mansfield I’d expect our game against chorley will be on that sunday programme if they do it again.

Swindon at home - I'll take the result from the last time we played them in the cup.

In all seriousness - I hope the club use their noggin and reduce prices for this match. Last time they kept prices at full standard and it impacted the attendance massively.

Jesus wept what a draw! Our bogey side and ground. Can't remember the last time we got to round 3, but it ain't going to be this season!

Any Bury fans still browsing.... could we expect a big turn out from you in our end at Bolton?

Would be brilliant.

Fingers crossed we can hold Dulwich to a draw and earn a money-spinning replay at Brunton Park.

I imagine we'll just miss out on being one of the TV picks, and play on the Sunday as one of the highlight show matches. They'll probably televise a couple of games where both teams will bring in viewers such as Ipswich v Lincoln and just a couple of games featuring non-league teams hosting league teams, but I think Harrogate v Pompey and Hayes and Yeading/Poole vs Oxford United are bigger draws, with Southend, Fleetwood, Rovrum and Rochdale also all League One clubs away at non-league clubs.

Dulwich are fairly trendy though, and London-based so we won't be far from consideration. Get a replay, and I'm sure we'll be on the telly-box.

Are dulwich that ones that nearly got evicted not long back? Pretty sure they are.

If so that’ll add to the story

We’re on BBC.

I hope to fuck we’ve sacked Pressley by then, otherwise it’s going to be national embarrassment.

Well since I’ve been following Carlisle I don’t think we’ve lost this kind of cup tie. From my memory the biggest scare was when borhamwood ran us close in 2013.

But this team under this manager is a recipe for an absolute pasting off part timers. There’s absolutely no fight in this team whatsoever. I can’t think of a CUFC team less equipped to deal with this type of tie. Unless a new manager is in we will lose, 100%.

Curzon Ashton....and Carlisle
Guess you did not go to Ilkeston away HG, that was a shocker.
although not seen this Carlisle side listening to games they seem as rudderless as that side in 2000 so looks every bit a shock

Can't remember the last time we won, or even avoided embarrasment when on the telly-box. I guess it would be the JPT final we won but excluding that then we never even manage to give an account of ourselves and after about half an hour the commentators have started to forget we're there.
