Probably be less than 500 left for general sale at this rate. Glad mine are sorted!

Still think general sale should have been yesterday.

A week is long enough, the argument of the Cheltenham game seems soft as they are taken off sale from 2pm until after. I think to be fair Carol and the club have under estimated the interest which considering its the first real big cup tie since Spurs away 12 years ago. (What a night that was)

Replay vs Brovers tonight is on BT Sport 7:30 kick off.

We're usually tripe on tv though so please don't watch.

6282 sold as of COP last night.

Seem to be a steady 500 a day on average since the first couple of days so looking like there will be very few left for general sale on Sunday.

Might be worth seeing if we could move it to Wembley to fit us all in.

Old Trafford is a bit nearer?
Anyway, there will be loads of space in the City areas.

Not sure how their sales are going but they had 46,000 home fans last season at this stage.

Rumours abound that we've asked for another 2,000 although not sure what area if these are granted.

We’ve sold nearly 700 for our trip to Burton which is more impressive imo

How we haven’t won that 6-1 I’ve no idea
How is the Lyndhurst Lino allowed out on his own? When a player puts both hands on a ball and essentially catching it less than ten yards in front of you you wave your flag. Apparently not. On the positive side, I have been very critical of Danny Mayor for some time, but tonight he got his Mojo back. Those watching on tv, did the ball go over the line?

Likewise, Mayor was brilliant.

Personally I don’t think the ball crossed the line. Keeper taps it sideways and it comes out off the post. The angle of the camera makes it a bit of an illusion that the ball is further over than it was.

How on earth did Telford/Wootton miss their tap ins though!

Wotton’s I get he was coming in at speed and on an angle. Telford’s was pretty much an open goal and he was lined up and the defence were in chaos. Let’s hope mayor plays like now on.

There were two occasions in the second half were I think Mayor could of scored. They marked him so tightly all game, but on those two occasions he sort of fluffed his shot and it was blocked, and he tried a pearoller in the bottom corner when he should of whacked it.

We have a very good team, lots of options, just need a striker who can consistently put it in the net! Our build up play is superb. Love the wingbacks of Byron Moore and George Cooper. Byron Moore in particular regularly found himself in acres of space.

Looks as though the Man City tickets have sold out as apparently they have been taken off sale "for now" so assume we are getting a few more.

In all honesty the way Vale have handled this has been poor. We are in the situation where there are those who pay on the day for Cheltenham at the weekend won’t have had an opportunity to buy a ticket while at least about 2000 day-trippers in the away end at City probably couldn’t even point to VP on a map. Should never have allowed it to be 2 per ST holder.

I agree, although think they've been shocked by how much demand there has been.

We'll probably have a similar problem with our Burton allocation...:emb:

We did once we actually had fans stood on the edge of the pitch for our first visit for a while until they moved their home fans down in the home end to fit them in.

Up the Vale! What a day it will be! Only half an hour on the train and 8,000 joyous Vale in Manchester pre kick off.

The away end will combust when we win a corner in the first minute.

More Vale related news!

''The club shop report busy sales, whether you want a 'Super Vale Away' scarf, a half-and-half Man City/Vale 'friendship' scarf or mug as a souvenir of the game, or even foam hands to hopefully point the Premier League and FA Cup champions away from Vale's goal''

I confess this is the first time I've come across this particular description ('friendship') for one of those cringey and utterly embarrassing half and half scarves.

Don't go anywhere, more Vale news to follow.

Lol the local reporter is moaning that Vale fans are cringing over them. Nice that City are happy to help us with it all mind.

Foam things will probably get confiscated at the gate!
