AFC Fylde at home. Cracking draw. Reckon it will be tougher than we think, though, as they're top of the Conf North.

Bizarre that you think Wigan will take 400 more to Gigg Lane for an FA Cup first round game than you did in the league just 2 weeks ago
we seem to turn up for fa cup ties when local to be honest, what you got to remember wigan had a super league grand final that day when we played you...people do actually support both teams

Apparently we're only getting 500 tickets for FC United which will be less annoying if it's on TV as I've little chance of a blagging one.

I doubt it will be. They refused to allow their qualifying game with Sporting Khalsa to be moved, so I can't see this one being any different.

They could refuse that as it wasn't part of the official package of coverage - I doubt very much they can refuse from R1 onwards.

How would that work if every club said no?

I thought FC United were objecting to the fact that TV wanted access to dressing rooms, dugouts and pretty much everything else rather than the fact the game was just shown live?

Part of entering the F.A Cup isn't it? Although I'm sure they did say they'd never move a Saturday 3pm game for TV reasons.

They entered the competition and are bound by the rules. No fucking way will they, or any other club for that matter, be able to choose whether they are moved for TV coverage.

What a bunch of c*** the FA are. Fuck actual supporters, lets cater to the the armchair viewers instead. Also, you want to offer cheap tickets? Nope, this is the minimum, tough shit. Seriously, the FA are a joke and it saddens me that a former FL man in Greg Dyke allows this sort of shit to happen.

Had he not already made himself to be a total prick in your eyes when he suggested 'B' teams in the FL. The bloke is a wanker.

We are now one of the Sunday featured games for BBC. This now meaning a lot of our supporters can't attend the Sunday match, thanks for that BBC/FA!!

As are we, hopefully it won't impact our gate too much. Still, Sunday is better than Monday and the TV money will come in very handy...

I dont think you get any money for being part of the bbc show on the sunday. If you do it will be minimal amounts. Not enough to even bother moving your game. I know you have to agree to be on tv but im pretty sure you dont have to agree to this shit.

If I remember correct from last year it was £12,500 for each team for being on the Sunday show (our game at Pompey was one of these games).

Im stunned clubs would allow it for £12,500. Its guaranteed that less people will go on a sunday instead of a saturday. Not that it bothers the club but local pubs must be well pissed off too it has a huge effect on how much a pub will take on a saturday matchday compared to a sunday.

I don't like it but I expect it will still sell out, and £12k is a nice chunk of change for a club at our level. I can live with it seeing as it'll probably only be this one time all season.

hope you smash them and hardly anybody turns up, it's not like $$$ylde need financial help with a nice cut of gate receipts.

Can't wait to lose to Southend at home.
Never won at Glanford Park - either need to make a bit of history or lose at Roots Hall.

Barnsley have refused the Sunday tv coverage, according to the chairman's statement on our website, so Saturday it is. Can't link the article from my phone though, soz.

They have a game on the following Tuesday, so have quite rightly given the FA the finger. If they've got anything about them they'll recompense Alty though.

By all means have 3 live TV games, but the other 37 should KO at 3pm on Saturday (subject to an unavoidable clash)

What is it about no-mark non-league Lancashire clubs and sugar daddies?

Bearing in mind they will all (or mostly all) have a small non-league side at home in the Sunday fixtures, £12,500 isn't to be sniffed at for their level and the games will still be a big enough pull for them to sell out their smaller capacities.
