We've got the sub goalkeeper playing, who wasn't trusted enough in his role as backup so we needed to sign a loan keeper as soon as Sam Walker got injured to avoid playing him. A central midfielder is playing right back, a youngster has come into central midfield for his first game of the season and Sordell has been pushed out wide.

So five changes and an average age of the subs of about 19.

We will lose.

They're entitled to protest. Really have no idea why people are annoyed at FC United's stance.

No annoyance, pal, just a sense of head-scratching bewilderment.
There's something very 'What did the Romans ever do for us?' about the FCUM fans' posturing yet still turning up.
Wonder if they'll be so desperate to snub the cameras if they get a result...

Strong team as you say but a poor start by the sounds of it, could really do with a win after last week's result.

Battered Wealdstone so far, now gone 2-1 down from a goal up. Ffs, so predictable.

Dominance has paid off eventually, 5-2 up as we enter the final minutes. Four-goal haul for young Macauley Bonne too.

Barnsley and Crewe the 2 teams in our division to fall to non league teams. Neither that much of a surprise looking at their form this season.

Beat Wigan very easily. Would love Salford home/away next but knowing us we'll probably get beat in the next round anyway. We don't do cup runs.

Dale 3 - 1 Swindon.

Enjoyed that. Two teams trying to play proper football, and occasionally succeeding- Dale more than Swindon.

And, Posh fans, thanks for Mendez-Laing... :)

Least Barnsley will see their manager get handed his P45 in the coming hours, shame same can't be said of us. What a total embarrassment we are.

Absolute shambles, from start to finish.

Had a shaky first 5 minutes, came back into it and missed 2/3 great chances. Should have been 1-0. But after 15-20 minutes, we just turned into a complete mess and Eastleigh took over. Fortunate that we didn't concede at least 2 before half time, very lucky to be level after 45.

2nd half, more of the same. Didn't even have a shot in anger before we completely fell to pieces. Garratt makes a terrible decision, comes charging out, clatters there guy outside the penalty area. Maybe an argument for a yellow, but I don't really have many complaints with a red. Still, could have readjusted and soldiered on with 10, but the shambles continued. Nizic comes on and gives away a penalty inside 10 minutes of his debut. Comedy of errors from him and I thought he was lucky not to be sent off as well. Ref was never going to send 2 keepers off in 1 game though. They score, could have had 2 more. We had a couple of half chances, best we managed.

Eastleigh fully deserved to win, better in every department and made our bunch of clueless fuckwits(on and off the pitch) look like the amateurs they are. They physically bullied our players all over the pitch, was like men against boys. However, they are an absolute disgrace as a club. They kicked lumps out of our players all afternoon. Colclough forced off after a clattering. Inman got wiped out half a dozen times, including one time in the area where we should have had a stone wall penalty in the first half. Their dirty horrible antics were pathetic, as were their tin pot fans who probably only attended the game because it was the cup. I mean, a pitch invasion, sort your lives out! Beating us is no achievement.

The ref was pathetic. Missed countless opportunities to reign in their dirty play but didn't bother. Let them run riot, almost literally. Missed a stone wall penalty, his 2 linos weren't much better either.

But all that is an aside from the real rant. Steve fucking Davis, fuck off now! You've had been shown up for the clueless embarrassment that you are! No man management skills today. It was clear as day his game plan was "same again lads". He made no tactical adjustments for the fact they had 3 in midfield, clearly had no plan for winning the game bar "give it to Colclough and Inman and see what comes off". He hasn't got a clue, surely even his most ardent supporters can see that now? As soon as Colclough went off, we went totally to shit. Adam King, what more can you say? He is a total waste of space and has been for the last 10 games, yet he's a permanent fixture in the side! How? If he is on a "must start every week" deal, then Davis deserves sacking for saddling the team with such a poor judgement. If however, he thinks King deserves to start every week, then again, his has become so deluded, then he needs a straight jacket, not a P45.

The George Ray of 12 months ago made a return today, his failure to defend allowed their guy in to get wiped out by Garratt then make another mistake which led to the penalty. Don't get me wrong, both keepers made absolute shockers, but it came down his side on both occasions. Turton was awful, spent most of his time with his hand in the air appealing for offside. Bar those 2, King and the 2 individual mistakes by the goalies, I thought the others did the best they could given the total lack of coherent instructions and sensible decisions being made by the management.

Utter disgrace, on and off the pitch today. The players put in a half hearted performance and didn't look interested, but thats where the manager earns his money and finds ways to motivate them and find ways to get them to perform. If Davis doesn't get sacked(which he won't) after this, he has a job for life. Club need to pull their fingers out their arses and sack this clown before we end up in the non-leagues.

weird one with Lee Johnson cos seven or eight straight defeats is unacceptable, but do you sack a manager after a run of extremely bad form without seeing how the manager might react to it? teams don't usually lose more games successively than they already have, and their squad is very, very young, so it might be worth giving him a couple more weeks at least.

Don't be saying that in the non-league bit or Eastleigh Fan will not be happy! Although so many supporters can't be wrong.

Apparently Eastleigh had more FL appearances in their squad (or first XI) than Crewe!

I've long called for the removal of both Davis' (even if Harry didn't play today) Turton and King and all four need to be shipped out urgently. Ray is a competent CB and a disciplinarian manager will get the best out of him I'm convinced. But fuck me what a total embarrassment we were today.

And yet Davis still has fans who defend him to high heaven, even after today, fuck off with him you happy clapping twats.

Tough game for us but a 2-0 win, 2 more goals without Bradshaw and another cleansheet at home. That's something like 3 defeats in 26 now or something. Amazing record.

That they're not even in the relegation zone with everything happening at that club is something of a miracle in itself.
