I don't like homophobic comments, but in a strange way, Mark is right. Just like all non-homophobic straight guys, I too have gay friends and they all lecture me to take it easy with 'all this pc nonsense' - their words not mine. Same thing with female friends too. I try my best to be polite, and the response I get is usually something like 'oh grow up' or 'please don't be too sensitive'.

So, I'm thinking they are mature and simply don't feel insulted, which is easy to understand after all. For instance, I get a lot of comments from my mates regarding my views on vegetarianism and I don't feel insulted.

However, refraining from such comments is always the best option, though personally I think that sometimes we take it too far with this pc'ness.

I think it was a very strange post out of tone with the thread, where he is naive to the point of being a simpleton if he thinks it's not going to get picked up on.

If Mark admits it was a bit of an idiotic thing to say and holds his hands up, then I think the majority of posters can move on from it.

Crewe have agreed to set the entrance fee at £10/£6.
Hat's off to them for that.

From what i understand about the ' liberals' that support whitehawk whether its us or lincoln that get through if you see a quid on the floor down there dont bend down to pick it up......... Sorry couldnt resist
You should have resisted. You're a div.
Why not? Whitehawk only have about 250 home fans.
But as you've seen from their Twitter they're nursing a massive hard-on for their big Cup Final against Lincoln or Tranmere. I'm sure they'll coax a few Brighton fans out of the woodwork to swell the numbers.

Like my nights out in Brighton, so Whitehawk is not a bad draw. Not that Tranmere will get past Lincoln in tonight's replay anyhow.
I notice Whitehawk have got Brightons old seating from the Withdean, looks like an accident waiting to happen and am surprised they've got a safety certificate for it!

At last, a man who speaks sense, Brighton is a cracking night out and the city is one of the most welcoming I have ever visited...a place where truly anything goes and all are welcome. Yeah, Whitehawk probably won't feature on many travel programmes as one of the highlights of the city, but there are plenty of others. I wouldn't have minded if we had drawn the Hawks away in this round and reckon most of my footy mates would have made a weekend of it down there, to enjoy all it has to offer, as the traditional Torquay weekender game falls nicely on Boxing Day.

PC gone mad is renaming Spotted Dick as Spotted Richard, or brainstorming as thought showers. Not pulling someone up for suggesting that Whitehawk supporting " 'liberals' " (who are seemingly labelled in this way because holding anti sexist, racist and homophobic values is a negative thing?!) are going to bum their opposition fans if they bend over within their vicinity. You and Mark might have gay friends who tell you that it's fine, but why should only gay people be offended by such remarks? I have a gay friend who has a very low opinion of football due to comments like that. Therefore it pisses me off that saying something like that should just be swept aside. It tarnishes us all as football fans. To see an albeit small, but progressive thinking group of supporters berated like that instantly undermines what they're setting out to achieve.

Hearn in for us, so 4-4-2.

Neither team are keeping a clean sheet in this one (he says).

That I can agree on.

Sounds like we've played Lincoln, 2 referees and 4 linesmen over the course of the last couple of days. We're just not going to beat Lincoln.

Can't be arsed with the shite refereeing in this league.

The referees I've seen have been abysmal so far, to the point they've massively affected the game. Can't comment on today's as I'm not there.

I supposed they are kicking & tugging your boys shirts too..
Bitter sore loser. Blame everything except your own team for being push overs.

It should only be a red card if denies an obvious goalscoring and from what Wirral radio commentary suggests, there were Rovers defenders covering. Same liner then gives penalty against us for hand-ball.

We're not losing yet, dickmunch. We lost fair and square to a number of teams this season, and we accepted it. Only Eastleigh stood out as outright cheats which made that game hard to swallow. If any of your fans bothered to travel, you'd have seen it first hand.

Wirral Radio ha ha ha ,Asked me for an interview at yours.
Asked me whats it like traveling 500 mile round trip for our cup final. Paused a minute and replied."No cup final today pal. Two relegations mean today is a league game." I so enjoyed the final whistle and putting the 3 points in my back pocket.

I'm not there either, but just going from the lads who are and the Lincoln forum, it seems they are having a 'mare tonight. The did have a 'mare on Saturday and unfortunately I was there to see that one.
Now this guy has told the ball boys to remove all the towels from pitch side?

Seems to be a bit of a rivalry developing between Eastleigh and Tranmere. Could be some interesting games in the coming years.

Only on this forum, I don't think Eastleigh will be regarded as relevant at all to bother the general Tranmere public I expect. And rightly so.

I saw a team beating another team away from home. Playing the way they have been played against at home. You so gotta take that chip off your shoulder. Sometimes you win ugly. Sometimes you lose pretty. would personaly like to win pretty but you cant all the time.:bg::bg::bg:
