Only on this forum, I don't think Eastleigh will be regarded as relevant at all to bother the general Tranmere public I expect. And rightly so.
To be fair, I doubt any Tranmere fans on here care about them either. It's one or two sensitive souls who can't take criticism of their side's performance trying to goad Tranmere fans because they dare to have a concept of what a good football team actually looks like.

Seems to be a bit of a rivalry developing between Eastleigh and Tranmere. Could be some interesting games in the coming years.

Personaly found all the Tranmere decent people to chat with at theirs. The couple on here have a big chip on their shoulder that need to realize. how far they have fallen. 2 leagues in two years. We have gone up 5 leagues in 14 years. Us staying here depends how long our owner stays I recon. Tranmere on the other hand. Need to look at their club and ask questions.
As i told the Bristol Rovers directors last season. You should be ashamed to have such a great club in this league. They chose to ignore. But their was no way they didn't hear it. They didn't bleat about a few tackles. They congratulated us on winning a game.

Congratulations on winning at Prenton park.

We've still not scored. I have a terrible feeling this sub 'keeper will make the winning save in the shootout...

It's Ian Turner - he's not exactly some kid, he's a decent keeper. Sounds like he's having a really good debut though.

I never said he was 'some kid'. Just said it;s going to be one of those nights. Problem is we have only one way of playing, and that's hoofball. Doesn't exactly lend itself to tiring out and breaking down a team of ten men.

Surely it's only a matter of time now. From what I saw on Saturday, you were a physical side to play against, we must be getting knackered. Still got my fingers crossed though ;)

I never meant it like that, apologies. I just meant that usually a keeper coming on in his debut isn't of Ian Turner's age or experience. No offence meant.

We've agreed with Pompey to £12 tickets for 1st round game, should hopefully entice a good turn out from the home fans. By my reckoning a 12k crowd could worth circa. £50k.

There we go, 1-0 Lincoln. Ah well, at least we can concentrate on the league... ;)

Decent payday that! Good to see it going to a club who needs it too.

Oh well, enjoy Whitehawk Lincoln. Shouldn't have even gone to a replay, but it did and with your home form and our keeper saying bye after 15 minutes, it was always going to go one way. Feel like we've been had by the officials, but good luck in the next round.

Only problem is the gaffer will most likely not see a penny of it for the squad especially when we need to try and extend the likes of Jalal, Whitehead and Fitzpatricks contract past January.

I need to figure out a way of getting a pass to go down!!!

2-0, Robinson. It won't be this simple in a couple of weeks time.

Well Whitehawk lost 3-1 to bottom of the table Basingstoke tonight.

Lincoln to progress via another replay.

Can't complain about the result, though if we'd played the kids could have avoided the collateral damage of being without Davies and Harris for Saturday's toughie at home to Dover. Hope Lincoln enjoy the trip to the south coast.
