Should Arsenal go through, the trouble with them is that they have the benefit of not being involved in a title race, unlike ourselves. It's them sort of things that makes is a level playing field.

I think they'll fancy their chances, though.

Big fat goddam congratulations to Lincoln City so far, from every fan right down to their Twitter bloke who seems to have blocked me despite us never interacting.

People get cynical over the Cup when there are few upsets. Then when there are upsets, it's because the larger clubs are not taking the competition seriously anymore, and cynicism prevails anyway. But to beat Oldham, Ipswich twice, Brighton and then Burnley, is one of the best Cup runs we'll see. And if anyone disagrees, then they can fuck off back to where they came from. (That is the correct terminology these days, isn't it?)
