WTF has happened. I know we have a lot of injuries but we’ve just capitulated.

2 bloody terrible teams here at Gresty Road. Could go either way as both teams are shaky at the back and terrible going forward.

We’ve missed a pen so probably should be ahead, but to be honest both teams are so useless that 0-0 would be a fitting score. But chances are coming and being wasted at both ends.

It’s the FA Cup but it smacks of a basement league 2 low quality survival scrap.

It doesn't help that both of our strikers went off injured in the 1st half but Stockport deserve to be in front. I can't see any way that we can win this.

We’ve just scored a cracker apparently, in front of a bumper crowd of 1991. :bg:

We've scored 3, I repeat THREE, goals not only in a second half, but for the first time this season full stop. Hopefully we can kick on from here and it's not just a one off for the cup.

Wtf is going on, we’ve scored more today against MK than we usually score in a month, 3-1 up now.

We had two players go off through injury inside the opening 20 minutes, missed a couple of great chances and then went behind to a deflection... think you can call it one of those days.

Against the best defence in League 2 too? Couldn’t make it up.

Ended 0-0, chances at either end in a scrappy game, Reece uncharacteristically missed a sitter and Williams hit the post a couple of minutes before the final whistle.

Huffed and puffed a 2-1 win. Still shit, though.

Good result that! Shame that you would probably prefer it in the league? Did MK play a strong 11? Surprised at low the attendance was.

Oh look, out of the cup at the first attempt, what a surprise. It's also nice that with a few teams coming unstuck in embarrassing fashion, we find our own way to join in by conceding in the 89th minute from a goalkeeping clearance that hits a Carlisle player and bounces in. God this club's a shambles.

Tranmere versus the other Oxford looked like a bit of a ding-dong. Looked up City's hattrick bloke (we're short a striker!) and see he had a spell at MKDons without doing much but he's still fairly young.

I go out the house with us losing 0-1 and on returning from my good Samaritan driving task I discover we've scored 3 in the second half. Cheers God XXX

Same team as their 4-0 win at Crawley so I’m guessing so. It shows that we have the capability but we seldom show it. Think the last few performances, our normal cup results and the opposition were to blame for the attendance though I don’t think we’d have topped 3k if we were midtable.

Bit of a tough one to take I imagine. Just from listening on the radio it didn't sound like either team deserved to win, but I suppose it was exactly that kind of dire game that was only going to be won one way and the Crewe goalkeeper found that way. I was actually thinking to myself as the game went into injury time 'well I do like a weekday evening match, and I'd have taken a replay before kickoff'.

I have no idea what happened today but at least it was only the cup. Our first 11 though which is a bit worrying.

He was extremely highly rated at youth level, scoring 40 odd goals for the U18's in a season. Never really made it in the mens game though for us so I'm glad he's doing well.

Swindon was the only match I had down as a banker and comfortable. It's in my accumulator.

Barnsley
Plymouth
Tranmere
Yeovil
Portsmouth
Swindon
Lincoln
Maidstone

53.6/1

Tranmere and Yeovil let me down but never mind I had sneaky 14/1 on Notts to concede 4+ goals on a five. Gutted I didn't go for my second half bet which would have been 33s

We did not respect our opposition today.

First 20 minutes we played like the team that tore Exeter and Crawley apart, but after that we were lazy and showboated. We got rightly punished and save for a couple moments of quality were poor for the rest of the match.

We won’t repeat those mistakes in the return game at Oxford but they were there for the taking and it’s underwhelming the lack of professionalism we showed.

Defensive mid Lee McCullough was missing today and the step down in quality to Jay Harris was alarming. Our top two priorities in January will have to be to sign McCullough permanently and replace Jay Harris who should be sent back to Wrexham.

1 for and 12 against in our last 2 FA Cup ties.

Loads of Notts wanting Kewell gone. Gotta say I feel sorry for Hardy, he’s gone from hero to zero in the last six months, people even seem to be revelling in him getting banned from driving.

Really don’t know about Kewell, no idea who’d we get in or who we could afford. Paul Hurst is the only stand out.

We managed to hold the mighty Ebbsfleet to a 0-0 bore draw so they can at least do us over on our own patch.

What could be better after 3 defeats on the bounce than a glamour tie at home to MK fucking Dons.

Really struggling to hide my excitement for this one, and the 2000 - 2500 fans that turn up should be in for an absolute treat.
.......and what a treat it was! GTFC 3-1 MK DONS.
