Nothing wrong with Evatt statement..............you are there to be proved right or wrong
In this case wrong, but at least he has the belief.
Last night told him all he needs to know about his team/squad.....not good or deep
Dapo, sheehan and John were dire last night and if your better players struggle your team struggles

Stockport County.
To be fair to Evatt, I've read his comments on last night and he got it spot on. We wanted it more than Bolton and you don't want your manager in denial when you've got players like that who can let you down. You want him on their case.

Blame the Northern ref for giving false information. Those pesky 6 finger northerners. One thing is clear and its that we aren't to blame.

With the evidence now in abundance its a replay or an Exeter win, especially given Bradford also tried making a 6th sub but only couldn't due to 5 separate substitutions
The rules state only 5 subs to be used. Surely Exeter as a club know this ? If they don't things need to be addressed .

Funny how everyone is now an expert on 'the rules'.

Teams have been thrown out of the cup for less, the officials have got it embarrassingly wrong also but learn the rules before you take the field. As Bradford it seems were also trying to break the rules throw them both out.

We probably thought that was the case until the officials (FA Representatives) told us on numerous occasions we could make 6 after giving us more than 5 substitution cards. Bradford thought exactly the same and tried bringing on a 6th sub but only to be told after the extensive warm up and the player getting stripped to play that he wasn't allowed to come on

Why did COVID allow for extra subs anyway? Never saw any reasoning to be honest, only thing I can think of is injury prevention if a backlog of games snowballed from postponements.

It’s just awkward when the person running the Twitter account knows more than the management.

I'm pretty sure Taylor thought it was five subs as well, hence why he asked on numerous occasions if we were actually allowed to put another sub on after being given extra substitute cards and assured every time we were. Then again, now that we know the fourth official is from Plymouth and a Plymouth Argyle fan, maybe it was done on purpose. The conspiracy thickens

Season being condensed down (plus top 2 divisions playing through the summer with a much shorter break to be followed the next by the Euro's).

Not sure why its still needed though now the EFL has dropped back to normal.

If one of Bradford’s subs was a concussion sub then Exeter are allowed six

It'll be funny if Bradford lose again though. What happens with Bradford's red card and our yellows? Are they rescinded? Will Matt Jay's goals be taken off his scoring record?

indeed they are they got beat last season by some utter shite like Tranmere,Port Vale and Grimsby......no need to worry about losing to those this season
Its difficult to imagine what kind of life you have led to be such a bitter and twisted sadsack.

Fuck that. Would rather they let the result stand than have to play it again.
From the other side of the fence, would rather they kicked us out than have to play it again.
Tough, tough old December in the league coming up, so an extra game (or two) is just what we don't need!

The worst possible outcome, what a joke.

According to that Ewan Miller fella on Twitter, Angol's red card will still count. An absolute disgrace all around really.

I feel both sides have been very hard done by. Yes, Exeter broke the rules, but to me there were significant mitigating factors. I am not convinced the Ref and his team knew the rules either. I think a fine, and possibly awarding Bradford the winners fee, would have been more appropriate.

Another long trip seriously disadvantages Bradford, doubt they want the replay of the replay.

Feels like the FA are taking such a hardline to encourager les autres.

Lets hope no one gets seriously injured in an unnecessary game.

Why is it a disgrace? He will be banned for the replay, if the incident hadn't happened he would have been banned for a league game, which I imagine would be worse.
Shouldn't go around fouling players anyway

Surely he'll be banned for their game this weekend not the replay? I thought it's just the next competitive game
