1. I haven’t been around long enough to witness the delights of mud on premier league pitches “levelling things up”. But I’ve seen plenty of better efforts than I saw yesterday.

2. I wasn’t viewing it in Carlisle.

As I say, you were playing Brighton not Bayern. You had Anthony Glennon in your team.

All i said was that I thought Grimsby were poor and could have done a bit better, not win but just done a bit better. Didn’t expect my comments to have stained Grimsby’s family honour or something.

What do you want me to say? You were wonderful, a joy to watch. Is that better?
It’s doesn’t have to be either good or bad. They were beaten by a team that are worth 100x if not more that their own team. Getting a few more shots in and losing by more isn’t doing a bit better is it?

The score doesn't matter. You got there and enjoyed the journey. A few years ago, we lost 5-0 in a league cup final. Our fans sang through the whole game and at the end reacted as yours did. Supporters of other teams mocked our defeat as they simply couldn't understand our pride in our achievement. Be sad that the journey is over but be proud your team did something that none of ours did.

Fuck me, I hope Carlisle start losing again soon so you can go back to pissing on your own chips.

Well done fishy lads, a great cup run that did the rest of us in League Two proud.
