Stevenage v Nantwich

Our form has been dreadful since the 7-1 drubbing by Luton.
Nantwich are near the bottom of their league, so their form hasn't been great either.

It's a no win game as are quite a few in this round. If we lose or draw all hell will break loose, if we win by 1, 2, 3... people will say it should have been more, if we win by any more than that then comments will be "it was only Nantwich"

Probably only 10 goals or more will satisfy people but that's not going to happen.

Preiction Stevenage win 2 - 0, more Nantwich fans than home fans.

Oxford at home tonight, boring and not bothering with the trek up. Winnable and will be a good test of progress under Aspin but probably lose by the odd goal.

In all honesty I'm not arsed with the FA Cup this year as league survival is so crucial this year... going down from L1 is one thing but L2 would be a disaster for the club. We may make a few changes in this and the pointless checkatrade game on Tuesday with us almost through.

When we famously beat Spurs at home on TV in 1988 Jimmy Greaves on TV punditing said the only issue Spurs would have is finding Port Vale...

The lads were watching in the dressing room and did the team talk for us.

Nothing wrong or untrue with what the Southend guy said so I don't see any issue.

'We have to show them why they are in League 2 we are League 1 so we are better than them'.

They’ve not laid a glove on us yet and we could have had a couple more. Might rue those missed chances though as imagine they will get a bollocking at half time.

Routine against a full strength Oxford, didn’t lay a single swing at us! Pretty much redemption for the Exeter debacle we suffered a couple of years back.

5 wins in 7 in all competitions... hope Aspo can keep us going.

It was so comfy for us we took two midfielders off for two strikers in the last ten minutes and finished with three up top!

It's the way it is though.

No-one wants to watch a league 2 club against another league 2 club or league 1 club unless is a derby.

Really fun game at Meadow Lane and thoroughly deserved win. Showed great character to come back, played some cracking stuff, in the hat for round two. Got to be happy with that.
