Grimsby away, just after we'll have played them away on the Tuesday. Typical.
It would make sense to me to switch the games and have the Trophy match on the Tuesday then the league match on the Saturday, but I doubt the FA would allow it.

Doesn't really bother us, we still have to visit you twice in five days. There would be a bigger crowd for the league game, I'd imagine, if they were switched but it's not going to happen. Suits us to play in a less hostile atmosphere, probably.

So if (as seems likely) our replay tomorrow is rained off, when is the next likely date for the game? Saturday (when we should be at Woking) or next Tuesday when we are at home to Grimsby?

If it's rained off tomorrow it will probably just be put back to the Wednesday I reckon.

Also talk of being pushed back to Wednesday if required.

There's not been much rain today to be fair - a couple of heavy showers but it's been really windy which may help dry the pitch. Not sure. I can't attend if it is played this week but I don't imagine it'll be a classic.

Torquay's pitch passes inspection so on tomorrow barring a significant deterioration in weather.

No point anyone bothering to play all these games. Sir Jimmy Harvey's Halifax are nailed on to win it.

Just hand them the Trophy now.:ds:

So with the sceduled league match v Woking on Semi Final week already called off that is 5 games so far we have had to rearrange, and if we win next round that will be 6, and Hurst wonders why there is so much apathy towards this competition from our fans, ffs!

But York and Cambridge won both the Trophy and the Playoffs, of which the latter is definitely our aim, so it's okay. Why dump the Trophy to win the league when you can win at Wembley twice?!

Because we could also lose at Wembley twice, or not even get there at all.
The year we got to the Trophy final we looked knackered in the play offs and were attrocious in both legs.
Last year we exited the Trophy early and looked great all through the play offs.
Maybe coincidence, maybe not.

I do like Bognor, but hoping Sutton win. More games for them will only help us!

Yeah, it's probably best to throw the Trophy game and let us through.

Bloody caught out again. The other week I booked a few days off to go down to my brother in Surrey for the league game at Woking on 19th March which won't now be on. I didn't realise it was the date of the 2nd leg of the semi-final and with us playing Woking in the next round then the game in guaranteed to be off.

My only hope is that they rearrange it for the following Tuesday when I'm still down there. I'll now miss the 2nd leg of the semi-final too if we get there, unless we are away at a Southern team. Sutton would be ideal as it's only about 15 miles from where my brother lives.

The Guiseley postponement next week has done for me. I was gonna take my lad with it being in the school holidays but we won't be able to do another date with not getting back until around 11ish or he would be too knackered for school the next day.

Our fringe first-teamers and a handful of academy kids beat Westfield 4-1 in the Surrey Senior Cup that we're going to win.
