Underwhelming draw. No games that really stand out. Possibly Wealdstone v Stockport if that occurs.

Glad we are out looking at that. Both Sutton and Worthing play on 3G surfaces and if our only previous experience on a 3G surface ( a 6-3 humbling by Harrogate) is anything to go by then its a bullet dodged.

Might have to start paying this competition some attention soon. Not sure why it's at Wembley still though, biggest possible final is us vs Lincoln which would be around 30k or less if one of us was heading for playoff final. Somewhere like Etihad be far better but I digress.

Decent enough draw that we will put another good team out for.

Near fully fit squad for the next few weeks barring a potential ban for Sutton for a red card that no one knows what exactly for yet.

The conspiracy to keep the top 3 busy and for wrexham to come tootling through to win the league continues!

On a serious note good draw chance of progression , I've never seen lancs beat Essex at Chelmsford so hopefully the footy lads can help me out

The reason why is that it's an FA competition. Don't forget that they now double-header the FA Vase final with the Trophy final, which will increase the attendance.

Not been to one of these double-headers, but imagine 99% will only stay for their own game?

Playing Macc in a cup tie, hmm. Hope it doesn't go to pens.

Maybe they lock them in to guarantee a decent looking crowd on the tv?

I think quite a few of our fans got there early and watched both games last year, seen some highlights from the Hereford game and definitely a decent amount of Town fans there applauding all the goals.

We've agreed with the veggies to finish the game on the day with Extra time and penalties if required instead of replay.

FGR did offer us the option of taking on Chris in the car park to decide it, but understandably nobody fancied it.

No replay for our Welling game, which is good.

3-2 win for a much changed Sutton team in extra time against Worthing. At least we'll still be playing cup Football in February

We make the long trip up to a team our chairman described as "a 1980's" team. The way we play I can't see us getting a win on Barrow's pitch but if we can grab a draw I can see us winning on a replay.

Also the last time we played Barrow away we drew 1-1 with Alex Palmer saving 2 penalties and with Hornby still out he'll Palmer will probably start again, hopefully without the need to save 2 pens this time.

Honestly wouldn't mind if we lost so we can focus on the league.

Bit of a contrast for Sutton one week Arsenal- the next Boreham Wood (where most people probably support the former anyway!)

Boreham Wood will ultimately be a more enjoyable game to watch for Sutton fans.

They should charge £55 a ticket for it.

My only hope is that if we END MACCLESFIELD'S SEASON tomorrow that none of their fans, The Boss in particular, try and damage our supporters coach again. They did back in October cos they couldn't handle getting SCHOOLED in their own backyard.

Ours will most likely be quite a rotated (maybe disjointed) side tomorrow, so could go either way. A draw would be a pain though.
Looking forward to seeing how some of our new players do, but not overly bothered about the outcome, I suppose.

Looking forward to Brackley and their 10 fans knocking us out of the Trophy tomorrow.

I was there for the Great Wing Mirror incident (and watched the scrote in question get nicked) and will be there for what I expect to be a good game tomorrow. Think our new look team are coming together and we should have enough to win it. I'd really like for us to have a third final and hope it would be the lucky one.

With the amount of hot air FGR fans are spouting we'll have no need for pitch covers

I'll be too busy delivering a petition to Downing Street, voicing all of the countries concerns against such badly financially mismanaged football clubs making losses in excess of £5m over the last 2 years. SOMETHING MUST BE DONE TO BEAT THIS CANCER IN THE GAME.

Bit shitty that if you're a bigger team drawn away, you can get away with avoiding a replay by agreeing to settle it on the day - I'm surprised that we didn't agree to it vs Harrogate, but if it's a competition worth winning then it makes sense. If it's not a competition that managers feel is worth winning, why even be in it?

Boreham Wood at home is never an exciting game or one easy to watch. Hopefully with a certain other cup tie coming soon our squad will be keen to put them selves into contention (the same applies for the three away games before the 5th round tie - fixture congestion, what's that?)

Wood will tough to break down, they always are. It's not going to be visually pleasing. TBH one of my main motivations for going to this from South Wales is the moral one upmanship over the glory hunters

Much changed side for us again, more so than at Gateshead in the last round. 7 changes and we're playing right footed winger Terry Hawkridge at LB.

Whole back four changed, 3 of the midfield 4 and Southwell starts. Bench is Walker (GK Coach!), Wood, Raggett, Marriott and Anderson (youth).

Both us and FGR unchanged from our last league games, surprised by that.
