We have had the three highest FA Trophy attendances this season. Today was the highest, our game against South Park was the second highest, shortly followed by our home game against Chelmsford, and we'll get more for the semi.
Dulwich v Macc got 2834 so that's the 2nd highest this year I think, certainly higher than all your games except for yesterday. Dulwich have a very good support, decent numbers and all very friendly.

Agreed, a real blow for Jake Kirby, especially as he's out of contract in the summer. Hope that he's able to recover, maybe take heart from Will Aimson, who also sustained a double fracture at Tranmere, but now playing in the FL with Blackpool.

Thanks to Stockport County for tweeting their best wishes to Jake, he had a spell on loan there last season.

I've not seen the footage of Jake's fracture yet, but those who have say Nick Anderton totally blameless. Imagine it's difficult for a young player being involved in an incident like that.

Agreed boz, barrow need to get anderton to the club sports psychologist asap who will explain to him that it wasnt his fault, he could hurt himself if he doesnt go into a tackle full blooded cos hes scared of hurting the opposing winger.

My mistake, I didn't see that! Very decent crowd

Will Lincoln play their reserves in the semi-final ? If so, I would fancy us against any of the remaining teams, although Macc might be the trickiest. We have not really performed against them in any of the games since we have been down here.

If it is Dulwich Hamlets we apparently get a ticket allocation of 250. Cue the meltdown on the Cowsheds forum......

Haven't seen the footage either, but I read that Barrow fans thought it was a foul on Anderton and were calling for a yellow until they realised just how hurt Kirby was. Would definitely not expect Anderton to have had any intention of causing injury - he suffered a broken leg himself in a 50/50 himself, and has done incredibly well to battle back to become one of our best players.

I don't think there will be a melt-down, as most fans agreed about the fairness of phase one, where a certain number of points accrued through either season ticket or away game attendance got priority. If Dulwich were to happen it wouldn't get beyond that. The issue was mainly with the second phase, where Supporters Club members regardless of away games attended and ST holders were treated equally so someone who'd paid £10 for a SC card and been to no other away games had the same rights as a ST holder who'd paid £300+ or a SC who'd been to some away games. As it happened there were enough Chester tickets to reach general sale, probably as televised and on a Friday night. However some fine-tuning required for future high demand games with reasonable ticket allocations.

I think it'd be a kick in the nads to the others if we reverted to using the likes of Woodyard, Rhead, Arnold, Raggett etc all of a sudden. I'd rather us stick with the same core of fringe players tbh, especially as the FGR game is the one after the semi 2nd leg I think.

The FA Trophy Final is 3 weeks after the season end, which I'm assuming is a week after the PO's?

The draw:
Dulwich/Macc v Tranmere
York v Lincoln

Team drawn out first are at home first (I think)

Yes you're right. Not sure if there's an away goal rule though?

Prefer to play Macclesfield purely due them having a bigger ground.

Delighted. We only have ourselves to blame if we cannot make Wembley after this.

Let us win Tuesday night and you can name your score.
Mills is an idiot for playing full strength teams, our centre back who Has actually played well lately, will be out for 3 weeks because he rushed him back for Brackley game.
We need points in league miles more.

Only good thing is £££ to pay McNamara flops off and get ready for conference North

York will have probably had something to do with it too...

As for the draw, Macc vs Tranmere was the tie I wanted, with the second leg at PP. No offence to Dulwich Hamlet but a Cheshire derby for a place at Wembley is infinitely more appealing than a trip down South. Hope the Silkmen do the job and we have a cracking pair of semi-final matches, as we're 2-2 on aggregate since we were relegated to the VNL, one home and one away win each. It really could go either way, but fingers crossed it goes for us.

No doubt we'll have a 5-5 on aggregate, Lincoln will scrape a 1-0 against York and the Cowleys will get all the spotlight again...

Because it wouldn't be the same for Tranmere if they are achieving what we have this season...

I wish Tranmere would have more self-esteem as a football club judging by here and on Twitter, than having to comment on Lincoln City every second post, you're a good club up to a point and better than this.

It was a joke, but I hope Lincoln get all the spotlight until the end of the season. With that comes a LOT of pressure and I'm yet to see the fashionable Martin Allen produce from that position. Everything he's done has been from the position of underdogs - not any more.

All I'm saying is some Imps fans could be a bit more respectful to other sides.

Fairly certain nearly everything I've said since I've come back is respectful, so you really have completely lost me.

Fashionable Martin Allen - huge disservice by the way.

I find it interesting in terms of forum dynamic this season - when we crap five seasons on the bounce, everybody loved us.

Suddenly we're successful and media darlings and you have people crying left, right and centre like spoilt children. Will be a relief should we complete the task, there are certain aspects on this section I won't miss.

Like who?! :bl:

These are just from this page:
That's probably because we haven't had one single home draw.

How is comparing him to a manager who has won not only the VNL but L2 as well, plus made the League 1 playoffs a disservice to Cowley? Again, up his backside for no reason. His 'cheeky chappy' persona is exactly the same a Allen's with a younger face and less tank-tops.
