I’m going to a gig in Birmingham that night, so the only person after a trip to Solihull I imagine.

Presumably we’ll get Needham Market (A) because I can’t go. Cos that’s how these things work.

Thought it was an even game, albeit not at intensity of a league game. Our side was strong, but it’s not our strongest side. Think it will be a slightly different team you face in a couple of weeks.

You play football like we do, unfortunately our pitch has now ruined our chances of playing football on the ground as much.

Aye just saw our goals and the pitch looks absolutely horrendous. I think you’re probably up there as one of the real footballing sides in the division, could be a bit of a problem for you.

Rodrigues’ pass for our first goal is outrageous on any pitch mind, let alone that one.

He is a very good player, and also a cheating twat . I was hoping Bradbury our number 6, was actually going to do something to deserve a red card against him this time.

The thing I noticed recently against Grimsby and yourselves are that you are quite good sides, but mentally i feel that you are not quite at the level of the likes of Borehamwood, Chesterfield, with regards to grit and discipline. Genuinely think skill wise you, Grimsby and Dagenham are the best we’ve faced this season.

Hope you didn't ruin the pitch for the rugby team tomorrow, or us next week?

He goes down easily (although Roberts is worse for it tbh), but the pair of them do get kicked to bits by some teams as well so I can’t really blame them. And yeah that is basically us - technically excellent, knock the ball about nicely, score some great goals, but not sure we’ve got the mentality (or physicality) of a proper title contender. I mean, you saw how we collapsed in the league game when stuff started going against us.

Late pitch inspection didnt help I don't think.
Looking at that it seems every national league club has a drop off in attendances for this comp.

We need to get out of dog and duck league first and foremost, but would be happy for Needham Market or Bromley away just for a trip down south,

Don't think we'll be lucky with the draw (as in the last two rounds), have a feeling we'll either gets Bromley who we play on Tuesday or Notts who we were actually meant to play on the next round date in the league. Assuming we don't get Needham Market it'll be interesting how strong a team we'll put out, I think it'll probably depend on whether the Notts league game is switched to later in the season rather than the Tuesday just before or after the cup game.

Didn't realise until today that the semi is now a one off, is it played at a neutral venue or at first team drawn?

Are Brackley and Gloucester not far enough south for you? Careful what you wish for there are so many teams in the South East in the NL that we've done a deal with Nuneaton to train at their ground en route to a few of our away fixtures down there.

First team drawn, no extra time. Same as the previous rounds. Only the final has extra time.

I think the last three draws we've had a team at the lowest step possible left in the competition. Ironically though, our easiest game so far has probably been Grimsby.

Guilty as charged, but someone messed up getting us an away tie. Nearly had a heart attack when the lass got the numbers mixed up and tried to give Needham to Bromley.

All i know is we probably won't go any further.
It's a shit stage to get dumped out in. Too late to really benefit from no fixtures being moved around, and now just 2 steps away from Wembley.

I suppose if we don't get a man sent off and give away a penalty after 10 minutes we will stand a chance!

They'll be desperate to keep the winners of our game and Stockport apart in the semis. Both balls vibrating for home ties.

Be Friday or Sunday as well. Boring.

We’ve already beaten Wrexham with our FA Trophy team once, though, so got a chance.

I think we'll beat you. Parkinson's job is hinging on us getting to Wembley at least once this season.

You should do, we’re playing line-ups to actively get knocked out and have been for three years, but we are the cockroaches of the Buildbase. Until we get to the semis, throw the proper team in and immediately lose.

to be fair, if it was that late a kick off half the Wrexham lads would be too pissed by then to find the ground!
